The Morrow
County Sheriff’s Office
reports handling the fol­
lowing business:
May 9: -BPD received
a call from a man who
advised that for the last
two weeks there was a dog
behind his house that barks
day and night and he needs
it to stop.
-MCSO was advised
that Oregon State Police
arrested Gary Lynn Ball on
a Morrow County Circuit
Court warrant for crimi­
nally negligent homicide.
The subject was lodged at
Umatilla County Jail.
-MCSO arrested Mi­
chelle A Stephens, 39, on
a Marion County Circuit
Court warrant for contempt
of court. Subject was also
arrested on a Hermiston
Municipal Court warrant
for failure to appear on theft
III. Subject was lodged at
Umatilla County Jail.
-MCSO arrested Ro­
berto Navarro Medina, 46,
for DUII bac .23. Subject
was cited and released to
appear.
May 10: -MCSO re­
ceived a call from a driver
near Lexington who said
they hit a deer and it wasn’t
dead. MCSO responded and
was unable to locate.
-MCSO received a call
from a woman in Heppner
stating they found a rab­
bit in the sewer. A friend
was going to take it home,
and asked MCSO to call if
someone reported it miss­
ing.
-MCSO cited a 26-year-
old male for failure to carry
proof of insurance.
-MCSO was advised
that Hermiston PD arrested
a subject on an Irrigon Jus­
tice Court warrant for fail­
ure to appear for disorderly
conduct II.
-BPD was informed
of a fight inside a store in
Boardman; subjects went
outside and were still fight­
ing. Customer reported one
of the males had a handgun.
Another caller reported that
her boyfriend was hit in the
face by the other male. BPD
arrested Alex Velasco, 21,
for assault II, assault IV, and
disorderly conduct.
May 11: -MCSO ar­
rested Jered Lee Wicklund,
36, for harassment.
-MCSO received a call
from an Irrigon resident
who reported there would
be multiple kids in the area
shooting at cats with BB
guns. Caller advised that
the person who owns the
chickens is paying the kids
to shoot at the cats. Person
who owns the chickens
lives in Idaho.
-MCSO was advised
that Stanfield PD arrested
Robert Duane Wales, 54, on
a Morrow County Circuit
Court warrant for failure
to appear on frequenting
a place where a controlled
substance is used. The sub­
ject was lodged at Umatilla
County Jail.
-MCSO was advised
that Marion County Sher­
iff’s Office arrested Doug­
las M. Saylor on an Irrigon
Justice Court warrant for
failure to appear on waste
of wildlife and taking bull
elk during closed season.
The subject was lodged at
Marion County Jail.
May 12: -MCSO ar­
rested Zachary Floyd Har­
ris, 23, on a Benton County
Sheriff’s Office warrant for
theft II.
-BPD cited a female
subject for no ops.
-BPD received a call
from a motel manager stat­
ing there was an altercation
on the premises; she was
not there when it happened
but a female was punched in
the face and wanted to press
charges. BPD and MCSO
responded; OSP was in area
in case o f need o f assist.
Two female subjects were
issued citations.

ven Ray Duggen, 47, on an
Oregon State Parole Board
warrant for probation viola­
tion. Subject was lodged at
Umatilla County Jail; hold
placed for Oregon Parole
Board. No bail.
May 14: Boardman
Police Department, Mor­
row County SherifF s Office
received report o f a girl
with long hair and a blue
shirt running away from
a residence in Boardman.
The reporter didn’t know if
anything was taken.
-BPD received report
of subjects hunting seagulls
and blackbirds behind a
Boardman plant.
-MCSO received report

according to the reporter.

from an Irrigon resident
that he had noticed sev­
eral things missing when
he came home, including
jewelry, cash, fishing poles
and a half a beef, among
