ity fours: The Port of Mor­
row will be offering guided
bus tours of its facilities to
com munity, educational

the tours will last from 45

p.m.; Saturday, Aug. 4, 10-

Nelson has released the
following report:
-S a m a n th a Lee
B row n, 22, was found
guilty o f Possession o f
Methamphetamine, a Class
C felony. The defendant’s
drivers license was sus­
pended for six months and
she was given 18 month
supervised probation sub­
ject to 90 sanction units
with 30 jail units. Condi­
tions of probation included
substance abuse evaluation,
mental health evaluation
and five custody units con­
verted to 80 hours of com­
munity service. Total fines,
fees and assessments were
$1,678.
-S ergio M onroy
Ruiz, 29, was found guilty
of Delivery of Methamphet­
amine, a Class B felony;
the defendant's dirvers li­
cense was suspended for six
months and evidence was
seized. Defendant was also
sentenced to the Oregon
Department of Corrections
for 26 months with credit
for time served and three
years post-prison supervi­
sion. Ruiz was also con­
victed of Felon in Posses­
sion of a Firearm, a Class
C felony; the weapon was
seized and forfeited to the
state, and the period was
sentenced to 18 months
with the Departm ent o f
Corrections with credit for
time served and two years
post-prison supervision.
Fines, fees and assessments
totaled $900.

Rodriguez, 28, was con­
victed o f Possession o f
Methamphetamine, a Class
C felony, and sentenced to
30 days jail time with credit
for time served and one year
post-prison supervision.
The defendant’s drivers
license was also suspended
for six months. Fines, fees
and assessm ents totaled
$1,843.
-Jose Narciso Mad-
riga Rodriguez, 28, was
found guilty o f Failure
to Carry/Present License,
a Class C misdemeanor;
fines, fees and assessments
totaled $100.
