Snowmobile trails
affected by logging
A group c f snowmobile trails will be affected
by logging activity this winter in the Damon sale area of
Malheur National Forest.
The affected trails are located in the Starr area.
A portion of Forest Road 16 will also be closed; riders
will be able to use Forest Road 1660 as an alternate route.
However, with nearly 800 miles of trails for snowmobile
enthusiasts to enjoy, the impact should be minimal to
visiting snowmobilers.
