Rock N Roll Cowboys to feature high energy country
rock Friday night; Rodeo Rose to perform Saturday
Rock N Roll Cowboys
is a five-piece, high energy,
high-output, country rock
band that is both “a delight
to hear and to watch”. Going
strong for the last decade, they
play music by top country
and rock artists. They will
perform Friday night in the
rodeo arena at the fair starting
around 10 p.m. Everyone is
invited to come and dance
until morning.

Saturday again this year. They
are scheduled to begin around
10 p.m.
Tillamook Creamery Association to
give-away tasty samples at fair
The Tillamook Creamery Association will participate in
the Morrow County Fair again this year. Everyone is invited to
stop by and visit and sample a “little bit of dairy” ask they will
be offering samples of delicious Tillamook Cheese.

needs volunteers to help the
superintendents in each de
partment. Anyone who would
like to volunteer their time for
a worthy cause may call the
superintendents listed in each
department or the Fair Office

WHEAT LEAGUE
SUNSHINE CAKE
2 1/2 cups sifted cake flour
1 2/3 cup sugar
3 1 /2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. orange peel, grated
3/4 cup orange juice
2/3 cup butter or
margarine, softened
3 eggs
1/3 cup water
1 tsp. almond extract
In mixing bowl, sift flour,
sugar, baking powder, and
salt; add orange peel, orange
juice and butter. Beat for 2
minutes. Add eggs one at
a time, beating after each
one. Add water and almond
extract and beat 2 minutes.
Pour into 2 greased and
floured 9 inch cake pans.
Bake in 350 degree oven for
25 to 30 minutes. Cool in
pans about 5 minutes, then
remove and place on wire
racks to cool. Frost between
layers, sides and top with
Sunshine Frosting.
