New exhibitors welcome at fair
Have you attended previous county fairs and in looking at the exhibits thought to yourself,
“I can do that”? Whether it is baking, canning, growing fruits, vegetables or flowers, sewing,
crafts, taking pictures or painting, there is a category for you at the fair.
It is simple to become an active participant. All one needs to do is to go to the Fair
Office, pick up an exhibitor number and a premium sheet and then take the items to the various
departments on Monday, August 15, between 1- 8 p.m. Fruits, Vegetables and Flowers are
accepted Monday 5-8 p.m. and Tuesday morning from 8-10 a.m.
Ren’ee Yocom, Fair Secretary, will be happy to answer any questions. Office hours are
Monday thru Friday from 8 a.m. to -12 noon and 1-5 p.m.

Class competition
A
Sweepstakes
ribbon and gift certificate is
available in the Open Class
departments (except livestock
and booths). One is available
per department.
Adults winners will
receive a $25 gift certificate
and youths will receive a $15
gift certificate from the Fair.
The gift certificates may be
redeemed at any Morrow
County business and are they
are good until the end of June
2012 .
