teaching others to ride and
rope.
He participated in
senior rodeos for 30 years,
beginning in Las Vegas in
1978; he has competed in
all of the western states and
in Canada. As a member o f
the National Senior Pro Ro­
deo Association (NSPRA),
Fulleton qualified several
time for the NSPRA N a­
tional Finals. He continued
to rodeo until 2007, when
he retired from the NSPRA
at the age o f 90.
Fulleton is now re­
tired and divides his time
between Arizona and Or­
egon. His retirement inter­
ests include breaking horses
to buggy, fixing and selling
used cars, and helping the
M cE lligott fam ily m ove
cattle.
FFA banquet
May 12
The Heppner FFA
chapter will hold its annual
banquet on Thursday, May
12 at 6 p.m. at the Fair An­
nex Building. Dinner will
be served at 6:30. Members
o f the community are invit­
ed to attend the evening.

Heppner FFA will have a
brief meeting prior to the
banquet. Those interested
