8th annual Joker’s Ball a success
“No shirt, no shoes, no ballroom blues. Put on
a grin, stay home and win!” was the theme for the 2011
Joker’s Ball.
The Joker’s Ball annual fundraiser is organized
by the North Morrow Community Foundation and ben
efits “Arts Impact Youth” programs in Boardman and
Irrigon schools. Each ticket purchased was entered in
a prize drawing. Winners did not need to be present for
the drawing, which was held on April Fools Day. The
event raised more than $1,800, enough for two weeks
of Artist In Residency education.
“We applaud the generosity of these donors,”
said the director of North Morrow Community Founda
