lone planning all school reunion
An all-school re­
union for lone schools is
being planned as part of the
city’s annual Fourth of July
Celebration this year. The
reunion will include a pic­
nic in the city park and an
evening adult event on July
2. There will be a breakfast
and an ice cream social
on the third. Anyone who
attended, graduated from,
taught at, worked at or was
somehow connected to the
lone schools is invited to
attend.
Registration mate­
rials for the reunion have
been mailed out and should
be returned by the middle
o f May if possible. Any­
one who did not receive a
flyer in the mail and would
like one should call Bonni
Ball at 541-422-7583 or
Deniece Derbyshire at 541 -
567-9409. Flyers can also
be downloaded from the
lone School Reunion page
on Facebook. Questions
about the events and avail­
able housing should be ad­
dressed to Arietta Amspiger
at 541-989-8133.
The cost of attend­
ing the reunion is $20 for
ages 12 to adult; under 12
is $6. This will cover the
cost o f the picnic lunch
on the third. Any excess
funds, donations or money
raised from planned raffles
will be used to cover the
cost o f the evening event
and the ice cream social.
Breakfast on July 3 is be­
ing sponsored by the 1HS
Paris Club as a fundraiser
for their trip to France in the
spring of 2012. Its cost is
not included in the reunion
charge.
Two quilts are be­
ing raffled to raise money
for the reunion, the Fourth
of July Celebration and the
lone Education Foundation.
A custom drum barbecue
smoker is also being raffled

ing to fund extra-curricular
academic and athletic ac­
tivities for the lone Com­
munity School.

The Morrow Coun­
ty District Attorney’s Office
has released the following
report:
- E l i s h a Wa l t e r
Baker, 56, was convicted of
Violation of Wildlife Laws
with Culpable Mental State,
a Class A M isdemeanor
reduced to a Class A Viola­
tion. Baker was also con­
victed of Violation of Rules
and Restrictions Associated
with Hunting from a Motor-
Propelled Vehicle, a Class
A Misdemeanor reduced to
a Class A Violation. Total
fines, fees and assessments
were $1,374.
-Lawrence Allen
Perrin, 32, was convicted
of two counts of Burglary
in the Second Degree, a
Class C Felony. He was
also convicted of one count
each of Unauthorized Use
of a Vehicle and Theft in the
First Degree, both Class C
Felonies. He was sentenced
to the custody o f the Or­
egon State Department of
Corrections for a period of
18 months. Perrin was also
convicted o f Aggravated
Theft in the First Degree,
a Class B Felony, and was
sentenced to an additional
24 months imprisonment.
Total fines, fees and assess­
ments were $1,510.
