FUNCTIONS:
U nder the direction o f
the superintendent, plans,
d ire c ts , c o n tr o ls and
ev alu ates the business
and fisc a l o p e ra tio n s
o f the d istric t. These
services include budget
development and control,
re c o rd s m a n a g e m e n t,
financial reporting and
forecasting revenue and
expenditures.
Responsibilities include
the m anagem ent o f the
district fiscal operations.
R e q u ire s th o ro u g h
knowledge of public funds,
accounting practices, and
the ability to coordinate
the fiscal activities for the
school district.
Establishes and maintains
an a c c o u n tin g system
consistent with state and
federal laws, rules and
district policy. Directs and
supervises the auditing of
all district funds. Prepares

reports, as required by law
and as requested by the
superintendent. Analyzes
and interprets financial
information. Administers
and is responsible for the
