sphere within various proj
ect areas. These projects are
tools to help youth learn life
skills through competition,
team work, com m unity
service, challenges, and
success. Through the 4-H
experience, members have
potential to grow in knowl
edge, skill, citizenship, and
leadership.
County member
dues are $5 per member
and state member dues are
$ 15 per member with a $30
family cap. Membership
applications are accepted
year-round, but in order to
be eligible for fair, applica
tions must be received by
January 31, 2011.

District to meet
A regular board meeting o f the Morrow Soil &
Water Conservation District will be held Tuesday, Octo
ber 5, at 430 W Linden Way in Heppner. Agenda items
will include approval of the previous meeting minutes,
treasurer’s report, staff report, office building remodel
update, correspondence and partner reports. All meetings
of the SWCD are open to the public.
