Jackpot Rodeo Stickhorse Race results announced
Thundering
hooves, shouts of “Giddy
Up Go” and enthusiastic
encouragement from the
parents and fans started the
Morrow County Stickhorse
Race with gusto.
Eleven 3 and under
stickhorse racers were led
by Landon Waddell, Mi­
chael Sogge took second
and Trent Abies was a close
third.
Champion stick­
horse racer Riley Lantis
sprinted to first place in the
4 & 5 year old age group
with Hans Miles in second
and Narin Stone finished
just a hoof print behind in
third place.
Brock Hisler and
Paige Tekippe from Austin,
TX were riding very fast
horses and tied for first
place in the 6 & 7 year old
race. Cade Greenup was
second and Jace Coe came
in third.
Hats off to Lindsay
Orem for taking entries,
passing out treats and get­

event and to all the volun­
teers who helped with the
races.
Everyone who en­
tered received fruit snacks
and gold medals. The w in­
ners took home the coveted
trophies donated by the HM
Ranch. The Oregon Trail
Rodeo Committee furnishes
the treats and gold medals.

0 and 7 years of age. You
do not have to be a resident
of Morrow County to enter

this race and everyone is
