There’s a new way to enter the Morrow
County Rodeo this year -- via email
The Morrow County Rodeo
will be held on Sunday, August 8, this
year. To enter this rodeo the contestant
must be a Morrow County alumni or a
Morrow County resident for at least one
year. Awards are given for the winner of
each event including all around. All of
the awards are donated by local business
es or local residents and are very much
appreciated by the rodeo committee.
One event in particular has an
award that many have treasured-the Shad
Hisler Memorial Calf Riding Champion
buckle. This is a special buckle that is
given by the Paul and Susan Hisler family
in memory of their son and brother. Shad
Hisler who loved the Morrow County
Rodeo and competing in calf riding.
Many contestants have competed for this
coveted prize and treasure the buckle as
it holds special meaning for those who
have won it.
A new way of entering the
rodeo is via email. You can find the new
entry form on the county’s website at:
http://www.morrowcountyoregon.com/
fair/index.html. Simply click on the link
titled MOCO Rodeo Entry Form. The
form can be completed electronically,
attached to an email and sent to: mocoro-

deo@hotmail.com. You can also print
the form and mail it or drop it by the rodeo
office along with your entry fees. All entry fees must be paid by Friday prior to the rodeo. In the
past the rodeo office has been open during fair week, however this year it may not be open at all
times, so the easiest way may be to submit your entry via email.
Anyone who has questions about the Morrow County Rodeo, the Oregon Trail Pro Ro
deo or for the rodeo committee may also submit questions via email to mocorodeo@hotmail.com
as well. If you would like us to email you the entry form, send us a request at the email address
and we will forward a copy to you. Hoping to see all of you at the
OTPR and the MOCO rodeo this year!
