The Morrow County Fair once again will be paying Open
Class premiums in cash. This will be done on Friday, August 6,
only, from the hours of
9 a.m.-noon and 1-3
p.m.
This way kids
and adults can come
and get some spending
money for their open
class exhibits.
If you cannot
make it at this time
the prem ium s w ill
be mailed within 30
days.

The food departm ent
has chosen a recipe from Beverly
Hilderbrand o f Sherman County
for the “Make It With Morrow
County” contest. The “Make It
•With Morrow County” contest
recipe this year is “Chocolate
Medallion Cake”, with sour cream
frosting. The contest is sponsored
by the Morrow County Wheat
Growers.
In 1968 Pat Dougherty
won the contest with the same
recipe. For the recipe turn to page
50 in the Premium Book.
The “ B read Baki ng
Contest” is in memory of Mike
Armato and his unending quest
for the perfect loaf of bread. This
contest is also on page 50.
