Dances, music planned at the fair
The Fair and Oregon
Trail Pro Rodeo will hold a dance
following the rodeo in the arena,
starting around 10 p.m. on Friday
and Saturday; the Spur ‘Em Bar
will be open during this time.
Friday will feature “Ro
deo Rose”, a band that plays
“rocked out country”. Lead singer
for Rodeo Rose is Terri McCon-
nachie from the Portland area.
A native of Saskatchewan, she
has been singing since she was
a child. After spending time in
Nashville she moved back to Port
land, where Rodeo Rose became
a reality.
Joe Shinkle & 99 West
will be performing on Saturday
night; they have played over 200
shows. They play old stuff and
new stuff mixed with Joe’s origi
nals to keep people dancing.
