Sheriff's Report
The Morrow County
Sheriff’s Office reports han­
dling the following business:
April 1: Morrow
County Sheriff’s Office,
Heppner Ambulance re­
ceived request for an am­
bulance for an 88-year-old
female who had passed out,
but was breathing. While
the reporter was on the
phone with dispatch, the
woman quit breathing and
was deceased.
-MCSO received
report that NORCOR arrest­
ed Efren Zuniga Tachiquin,
48, on an Irrigon Justice
ject that she had a lock sto­
len. A deputy made contact
and determined that no
criminal act was done.
-MCSO received
report of two dogs chained
up in a little fenced area
with no grass or anything
and two horses out on De­
pot with little feed in the
Irrigon area.
-MCSO cited Can­
dace Lajuan Fertterer, 34,
for Violation of the Basic
Rule and Driving While
Suspended.
-MCSO deputy re­
ported stopping a juvenile
to advise him to wear a hel­
met when riding his scooter.
When the deputy left the
Court warrant for Failure
to Appear/DUII. He was
lodged at NORCOR with
$6,000 bail.
-MCSO received
report of a pickup truck
pulling farm equipment in
the Irrigon area.
-MCSO received
report of vehicles on prop­
erty in Irrigon.
-MCSO received
report of a dog at large in
Irrigon.
-MCSO received
request for contact from
an Irrigon woman who
requested copies of reports
she had made.
-MCSO received
report from a Heppner sub­
scene, the child continued
to ride the scooter, so the
deputy made additional
contact to advise him again
to wear a helmet.
-MCSO received
report of a gunshot in Hep­
pner. MCSO made contact
and determined it was a
baseball hitting a building.
-MCSO received
report of an altercation at
the fairgrounds in Heppner
and a girl running down
the hill from the hospital
towards the fairgrounds.
MCSO responded and was
unable to locate any vehi­
cles or subjects in the area.
-MCSO received
report that a rental house

Wednesday, July 14, 2010
was broken into and items
and dogs missing from the
house in Irrigon. A deputy
responded and determined
that the house was locked
up, the dogs were there
and nothing appeared to be
disturbed.
-MCSO received
report of a semi not main­
taining its lane on 1-84.
-MCSO received
report of a dachshund that
showed up at a Heppner
residence. The reporter
thought she knew who the
dog belonged to.
-Boardman Police
Department code officer
transported two dogs picked
up the previous day.
- THREE
-BPD received re­
port of animals abandoned
in an apartment.
-BPD received re­
port of an elderly couple
going around door to door
handing out religious fly­
ers. A detective had spoken
to them.
-BPD received re­
port of a three-inch folding
knife with a sheath still in
the package.
-BPD officer re­
ported he was out with a
black “min-pin” mix at the
park, but, when contacted,
the owners would not ac­
knowledge that they owned
a dog.
