Kudos to Heppner
Public Works Crew
for Supporting the St.
Patrick's Day Celebration
K udos to the H eppner
Public Works department
for their "behind the scenes"
efforts to support the St.
Patrick's day celebration.
Street cleaning, painting
the Shamrock, putting up
and taking down banners,
controlling the parking
during the parade and Cruz-
in etc. the list goes on. Do
you guys ever slow down?
An appreciative citizen-

It is past time for me to
thank this community for
their friendship and support,
having come to Heppner in
September 2002.
Becoming a wife and a
widow within a year o f
moving here from Portland
left me in a position of need.
In many venues the people
of Heppner, Lexington and
lone have enabled me to
settle in and make this my
home.
The most recent extending
of support came in from the
mop-up crew cutting the
grass on the hill behind my
house-the third year they
have helped me in this way.
A thank you to the school
staff & students
Grateful for the gift of
belonging,
Melissa Jo Monaco
