Morrow County Court weekly meeting held
The Morrow Coun
ty Court met on March 17 in
Boardman with Judge Tail-
man. Commissioners Grieb,
and Rea in attendance. Fol
lowing is a summary of the
meeting provided by Leann
Rea.
The court reviewed
and approved the minutes
of March 3 and March 10.
The court reviewed
and approved accounts pay
able, and retirement taxes
in the net total amount of $
225,606.07.
Road Report
Bombing Range
Road - On March 15 closed
the road, watered and grad
ed the road to finish grade
hubs and then fog sealed
with oil to hold the grade
until the road can be paved.
On March 16 did the same
thing on the Kilkenny Road
portion of the project. The
paving should be done
around the first week in
April.
Ella Road/Immi-
grant Lane - The 3.3 miles
of old pavement has been
ripped and processed into
base materials. Some of
the banks have been sloped
back and other areas were
widened as needed. Ad
ditional rock will be added
later as needed.
Road Sweeping
- Bombing Range Road,
Tower Road and all of the
county roads in the Board-
man area have been swept.
The crew is currently work
ing on the county roads in
the Irrigon area.
Tupper Lane -
Currently working at dig
ging out a soft spot in the
road, adding a culvert and
hauling base rock are gravel
to the area.
Road Grading -
Grading has been complet
ed on the following roads
and lanes: Gabbert, Liberty
School, Ridge, McElligott,
Carlson, Bill Bergstrom,
Lundell Ransom , War
ren, Hardman Cemetery,
Redding, Part of Hardman
Ridge, Bergstrom, Beach,
Kemp, Cutsforth, Camp
bell, Barclay and Lower
Sand Hollow.
Permits - A per
mit for cam paign signs
from Justin Nelson was
reviewed and approved. A
permit with Century Link
to place an under ground
line on Fuller Canyon was
reviewed and approved.
An approach permit for
