The Heppner Chamber of Commerce Tow n and
Country Community Aw ards event, sponsored by Centu­
ry Link, w ill be held in the Pav ilion at the Morrow County
Fairgrounds on Thursday, January 14, at 6 p.m. Catering
will be provided by “Pudding on the Ritz”.
Tickets will be $20 and will be available for sale
on Monday, January 4.

tion is set for Monday, January 4, at 7 p.m.
There will be a presentation by a small group of
kids that went to the national FFA Convention. They will
present a slideshow after the ceremony, as well. Refresh­
ments will be served and the community is welcome to
attend.

Kaci Elizabeth, on November 12, 2009.
At birth she weighed 8 pounds, 10 ounces. She
joins a sister, Charli Marie, 2.

Four Corners Snowmobile
Club to hold annual playday
The 4-Comers Snowmobile club will hold their
annual Holiday Playday at Kelly Prairie Sunday, Decem­
ber 27, at 10 am. There will be a poker mn with a cash
payout and hot dogs and chili.

Chamber to hold annual luncheon
Heppner Chamber o f Commerce will hold their
annual luncheon on Thursday, January 7, at All Saints
Episcopal Church beginning at 11:30 a.m.
Dino’s Delectable Catering Services will provide
lunch. The cost is $10 per person.
Those planning to attend are asked to RSVP to
the Chamber of Commerce no later than Tuesday, Janu­
ary 5.

the OSII Beaver Football recruitment banquet in Portland
last February. Willy and Steven had the opportunity to meet
head coach Mike Riley, NFL quarterback Derrick Anderson,
assistant coach Jay Locey, and past Beaver place kicker Alexis
Serna. The event featured the new beaver recruits for the 2009
season. The four were dinner guests of past Beaver basketball
star Charlie Sitton. The event is a fund raising event for the
Beaver football program and was held at the Portland Hilton
