SERVIC ES
After a lengthy bout of bacterial pneumonia, and three hospital transfers,
from Pioneer Memorial Hospital in Heppner, to Kadlec in Tri Cities, and finally
Doembecher's in Portland. Roy Collins is finally home to recuperate. After a 19
day stay at the various hospitals, Roy was allowed to come home Friday night to a
warm house lit up with Christmas lights donated and put up by Santa's helpers and
a hot. donated, delivered dinner waiting to be eaten. The spirit and true meaning
of Christmas has never been so magnified as it was for our family this year. The
community outpour of chopping wood, feeding animals, chopping ice, transporting
Maggie and Patrick to and from practices and games, putting up Christmas lights,
raking up leaves, cleaning up around the yard, wrapping presents, sending Roy
gifts and cards while in the hospital, the endless dinners that are heavenly, and
"’n th e donations to Roy's bank account and all of
the other jobs that have been done have been
phenomenal. The Collins Family would like to
thank each and every one of you for all of your
thoughts and prayers throughout Roy's ordeal.
There will never be enough words to convey or
express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation
to our community. We are so thankful to be
able to live in a town where the community is
a family.
Thank you and God Bless.
