Sheriffs Report
The Morrow County
Sheriff's Office reports han­
dling the following busi­
ness:
August 27: Mor­
row County Sheritrs Office
received report of a driver’s
license located and mailed
to the ow ner.
-MCSO received
report from an Irrigon sub­
ject that he and his w ife got
into a verbal confrontation,
she left the residence and he
w as unable to locate her. He
advised she was not intoxi­
cated, not suicidal and did
not have any weapons. He
called back and adv ised she
had returned.
-MCSO received
report of horses starving in
Irrigon with their ribs show­
ing and injuries. The caller
said that something had to
be done as the situation had
been going on too long.
-MCSO received
report from a minor in Ir­
rigon that someone was
using her photos on Face-
book and was believed to
be soliciting.
-MCSO received
report from an Irrigon sub­
ject that another Irrigon
subject dumps his dead
cows in the ditch at a loca­
tion which causes a “ter­
rible stink” as well as a
health hazard.
-MCSO received
report of a car that appeared
broken down on Highway
207, Lexington, with a
subject in the passenger seat
and the vehicle on the yel­
low line with flashers on.
-MCSO received
report from an Irrigon wom­
an that she was supposed
to pick her eight-year-old
daughter up five days ago
and was now there to pick
her up, but the father would
not release the daughter to
the mother.
-MCSO received
report from an Irrigon sub­
ject that someone had stolen
a large big-screen TV from
his residence. He said he
thought his ex-roommate
had picked it up, but he
had not.
-MCSO received
request for a deputy from a
Lexington subject regarding
posting trespassing signs on
his property.
-MCSO received
report o f suspicious cir­
cum stances regarding a
white Cadillac parked on
the east-bound on-ramp
to 1-84 at Boardman. The
reporter said the female
driver fell out of the vehicle
and bloodied her face. The
reporter said that the oc­
cupants of the vehicle as
the reporter not to call the
police.
-MCSO received
report from Klickitat Coun­
ty that one of their residents
is receiving text messages
from her granddaughter
w ho reported that her mom
and step-dad were in a do­
mestic dispute earlier and
the mom was driving un­
safely. The juvenile tested
that they took the 186 exit
off 1-84.
-MCSO cited Ni­
cole Lee Lawyer, 23, for
Driving While Suspended-
violation .
-M CSO, B oard-
man Police Department re­
ceived report that someone
hit something in the high­
way on 1-84 east-bound. It
turned out the debris was a
mattress and it was cleared
off the road.
-MCSO received
report that a subject was
spotlighting in the area of
Homestead Lane, Board-
man. He said he was shin­
ing lights on his horses.
-Boardman Police
Department received report
o f two trucks that struck
each other and becam e
stuck together in a parking
lot. A deputy responded,
information w as exchanged
and the trucks separated.
-BPD received re­
port o f someone hitting
a sign at a location and
knocking it down.
-BPD received re­
port of residents dumping
stufToverthe fence and into
a vacant lot.
-BPD received re­
port of a black four-door
vehicle, possibly a Honda
Accord, speeding past a
residence.
-BPD received re­
port of a loud noise at a
residence. The reporter said
she heard someone jumping
over the back fence, but
didn’t see anyone. Juve­
niles were running through
the trailer park, kicking
trailers.

Services reported they
were transporting to Kadlec
Medical Center.
-Heppner Ambu­
lance received report of
a male in his 70s lying
one the floor in a hallway
in Heppner. The reporter
didn’t know how long he
had been there and his head
wound had been scabbed
over.
-Heppner Ambu­
lance reported an EMS
transport.

Department received report
of an illegal bum.

bulance received report
o f a 29-year-old female
who had hit her back on a
piece of equipment while
cleaning under it and was
having pain. An ambulance
responded.
August 28: Mor­
row County Sheriff’s Office
received report of a subject
driving intoxicated. Oregon
State Police recovered the
vehicle in Hermiston.
-MCSO received
report o f a crash in 1-84
with a pickup with a trailer
facing the wrong way in
the median. A deputy was
unable to locate.
-MCSO received
report of a possible drunk
driver on Highway 74, Hep­
pner.
-MCSO received
report from dispatch that
they observed on the cam­
era possible flooding in
the Irrigon Skate Park. A
deputy checked and the
restrooms had been cleaned
and no water was running.
-MCSO received
report of hubcaps stolen off
a car in Irrigon. A deputy
responded. The complain­
ants said they didn’t want
to report the hubcaps stolen,
but would like extra patrol
around 11 p.m. because
people would be walking
around there at that time.
-MCSO received
request for a page-out for
the Heppner Ambulance
crew to respond to the hall
for a transport to the air­
port.
-MCSO cited Mi­
chael Norman Thomas, 47,
Failure to Renew Vehicle
Registration.
-MCSO received
report that a subject walked
into the Boardman Police
Department and advised
that he was house-sitting
for a friend and one of the
neighbor’s cows had gotten
into the garden. He request­
ed contact to show a deputy
where the house was.
-MCSO deputy re­
sponded to assist Gilliam
County and Oregon State
Police for a motor vehicle
accident with an injury. The
Boardman Ambulance was
en route.
-Boardman Ambu­
lance reported a disabled
vehicle on 1-84. It was a
broken water pump and
the driver was repairing it
himself.
-MCSO received
report o f a fire at Hale
Farms which could have
been a traffic hazard be­
cause o f smoke drifting
across the highw ay.

reported he was out with
v ehicle in the middle of the
road. The driver was able to
get the v ehicle out of road.
-MCSO received
report of a horse tangled in
a fence, falling down and
bleeding. The owner came
home and was taking care
of the horse.
-MCSO deputy re­
ported he was out w ith an
open door in Heppner.
-MCSO received
report of juveniles walking
toward the museum from
the bridge in Heppner. A
deputy made contact. Some
parents w ere reportedly not
happy w ith their kids.
-MCSO deputy' re­
ported he was out with a
juvenile in Heppner.

reported he was out with
two juvenile females in
Heppner.
-MCSO deputy re­
ported he w as flagged down
by a motorist behind Les
Schwab in Heppner.
-Boardman Police
Department received report
from a female subject that
her ex-boyfriend is there
and moving stuff out. She
was worried that the boy­
friend’s wife was taking
her stuff.
-BPD received re­
port o f a herd o f goats
across from Driftwood RV.
-BPD officer re­
ported he was out at the
Boardman City Park con­
cerning a report of graffiti.
The officer also checked
out a report of graffiti at the
Boardman Pharmacy.
-BPD received re­
port from a woman that she
had been threatened on the
phone.
-BPD officer re­
ported he was out with the
lieutenant and a code en­
forcement officer at Green­
field Grange for graffiti
removal.
-BPD officer re­
ported he was checking on
a horse tied up at the Wilson
Road Trailer Park. The code
officer was unable to locate
anything.
-BPD cited Hum­
berto Lopez Navarrete, 34,
for Violation of the Speed
Limit, 45 mph in a 25 mph
zone. He was also warned
for seatbelt use.
-BPD received re­
port of an aluminum lad­
der in the middle of 1-84.
Oregon State Police and
Boardman Police Depart­
ment responded and re­
moved the debris.
-BPD, Boardman
Ambulance responded for
an agency assist on 1-84,
Arlington, with an acci­
dent with a rollover and
entrapm ent. M utual aid
was requested. Patients
were transported to Good
Shepherd Hospital.
-Heppner Fire De­
partment was called out for
mutual aid at a conflagra­
tion in Mosier.
-Heppner Ambu­
lance responded for a trans­
port to Walla Walla.
August 29: Mor­
row County Sheriff’s Office
reported they received a
signal alert, but no verbal
response at a Heppner resi­
dence.
-MCSO, Boardman
Police Department received
report of a fight at Morrow
Estates in Boardman.
-MCSO received
report from a H eppner
subject that three o f his
vehicles were egged the
previous night. A deputy
responded and took a report
for criminal mischief.
