2009 Celebrate Heppner activity winners announced

the City Park. There were

everyone was having fun;
whether it was the tricycle
race, egg toss, egg race, w a
ter balloon toss, wheelbar
row race or hot dog eating
contest.

Shaved Ice was donated
and served all day by Mur
ray Drugs; The Stable of
Youth offered a “mystery
sundae for free if the right
topping was guessed and
a children’s carnival; free
cookies were “out for the
taking” at H ow e’s About
Pizza”.

Boardman to hold
Boardman plans Children’s Carnival,
Horseshoe Tournament

July celebration. On Sat
urday, July 4 the Riverside
K-Club organization will
hold a Children’s Carnival
from 1-3 p.m. at the Marina
Park.
Some of the events
planned are: fishing game;
water balloon toss; bean bag

ster; egg race, face painting/
tattoo; ball toss; ring toss
and the bouncy castle and
water slide. The cost is 25
cents to participate.
