Sheriff's Report
The Morrow County
Sheriff’s Office reports han­
dling the follow ing busi­
ness:

Boardman that a dog outside
the church w asn’t letting
people out o f their cars.

Department arrested Daniel
Hood, 37, for DUI1. He was
cited and released.
-BPD received re­
port from a Boardman sub­
ject o f a call saying, “Help.
Help me. They are trying to
kill me.” The officer made
contact and advised that
there was no way to trace
the call, but told the reporter
to get an address or a phone
number if the subject called
back.
Dec. 17: -MCSO is­
sued a citation to Paul Alan
Lienig, 35, for no operator’s
license and failure to use a
seatbelt.
-MCSO was notified
that Timothy Alan Jones,
31, was arrested by Polk
County on an Irrigon Justice
Court w arrant for failure
to pay fine/driving while
suspended.
-MCSO received a
report of a semi truck that
had jack-knifed on 1-82 and
was blocking traffic.
-MCSO and Irrigon
Ambulance received a re­
port o f an unattended death
o f a 65 year old male.

Craig Steven Lomsky, 49,
on an Irrigon Justice Court
warrant for failure to pay
fine/failure to appear.
-MCSO received a
report o f a motor vehicle ac­
cident with injuries involv­
ing a vehicle flipped on its
side w ith two people inside.
MCSO, Boardman Police,
and Boardman Ambulance
responded. A subject was
transported to Good Shep­
herd Hospital.
-BPD received a re­
port o f an assault involv­
ing a 13 year old boy that
threw a snowball at another
boy and then was thrown
down kicked in the face. The
mother took to the boy to the
doctor and did not need an
ambulance.
Dec. 18: -M C SO
received a report o f a vehicle
driving at a high rate o f
speed for the weather condi­
tions. MCSO issued a cita­
tion to Rigoberto Garcilazo
Barrera, 51, for failure to
carry proof o f insurance.
-MCSO received a
report o f a trespass in prog­
ress invo lv in g a fem ale
subject that needed to be
trespassed from the RV park
in Irrigon.
-MCSO received a
report o f telep h o n ic h a ­
rassment involving a male
subject calling the female
reporter and th reaten in g
to go to her house and kill
her.

Boardman PD with a ve­
hicle that was parked in
front o f an em pty house
that had been previously
burglarized.
-BPD received a re­
port o f a stolen check.
Dec. 19: M orrow
C ounty S h e riff’s O ffice
cited Jesus Diaz Oronia, 28,
for No O perator’s license.
Family members will pick
up the vehicle which was
left at Circle K
-MCSO received re­
port from an Irrigon woman
that a subject was steal­
ing all o f her grandfather’s
things and pawning them in
the Tri-Cities.

Police Department received
report from an anonymous
subject that a B oardm an
man was intoxicated and
fighting with his wife with
two small children in the
residence. BPD arrested
Victor Hugo Ramirez Vega,
28, for Assault IV. He was
lodged at Umatilla County
Jail with $6,000 bail.

lance responded to a call
in Heppner. A subject was
transported.
Dec. 20: M orrow
County Sheriff’s Office re­
ceived report from a woman
that her sister called her
two days earlier to say that
she and her boyfriend were
arguing and asked her to
come get her in Heppner, but
when she arrived she was
unable to locate her sister
or make phone contact. She
requested a welfare check
on her sister.

Fire Department, Lexington
Fire Department received re­
port from a Heppner woman
of a propane stove smoking
and then the house caught
on fire.

report from a subject who
said his elderly aunt in lone
had not answered her phone
all day.
-MCSO received re­
port from a Heppner w oman
that she was stuck in a snow
bank in white-out conditions
on 1-82 in Washington. Two
people and a dog w ere in the
vehicle.

Department cited Andrew
Dale Baker, 21, for Driving
W hile S uspended-V iola­
tion.
-BPD cited Luis An­
tonio Chavez, Jr., 27, for
following too close.
-Boardman Am bu­
lance responded to a report
o f a o n e-y ear-o ld sw a l­
lowing three to four 500
milligram pills o f generic
V icodin. The infant was
transport to Good Shepherd
Hospital in Hermiston.
Dec. 21: The Mor­
row County Sheri IT's Office
received report o f a hit and
run. A large Dodge flatbed
pickup hit two vehicles on
C ourt Street in H eppner
and was last seen heading
toward the courthouse.
-MCSO received re­
port from a Heppner woman
that an intoxicated female
with no shirt and no shoes
who came to her residence
asking for help.

report o f a vehicle in the
ditch at the K inzua Mill
site in Heppner. James B.
Munkers, 18, was cited for
No Operator’s License and
Failure to Carry Proof o f
Insurance.
-MCSO received re­
port from an Irrigon woman
that three horses in a pasture
next to her residence have
no shelter.

several reports o f vehicles
in the ditch and in the me­
dian.
-MCSO received a
report o f a vehicle pulling a
sled down Riverside St. in
Heppner.
-B oardm an Police
Department arrested Arte-
mio M endoza Garcia, 19,
for DUII w ith aB A C o f. 14
and Reckless Endangering.
He was released to appear in
court. BPD arrested Brenda
Zam ora V elasco, 21, for
Furnishing Alcohol to a Mi­
nor. She was also released to
appear in court. BPD also
arrested R olando Ibarra,
33, for Providing False In­
formation to Police. He was
released to appear in court.
A juvenile male was cited
for MIP-alcohol.
Dec. 22: -M C SO
received a theft complaint
involving a GPS system
and some cologne that was
taken out o f a car that was
in a snow drift. The caller
stated that the vehicle was
left unlocked so that the
road crew could help pull
them out.
-MCSO received a
call stating that the caller’s
mother was threatening to
scratch up her car and her
couch, as well as kill her.
-MCSO arrested Ty­
son Robert Palmateer, 29, on
a Umatilla County Circuit
Court warrant for failure to
appear/possession o f meth-
amphetamine and posses­
sion o f less than one ounce
o f marijuana.
Dec. 23: -BPD re­
ceived a report o f shots fired
in B oardm an. BPD was
unable to locate anything
suspicious.
Dec. 24: -M C SO
received a report o f a non­
injury hit and run. The caller
stated that her vehicle had
been hit sometime during
the night and she thought
she knew who caused the
damage.
-MCSO received a
theft com plaint involving
mail that had been stolen
from the caller’s mail box.
Dec. 25: -M C SO
received a report of a dispute
from a female subject who
stated that her brother was
intoxicated and was being
physically violent. Dennis
Dean Stefani, 46, was ar­
rested for assault IV-DV,
harassment-DV and inter­
fering with a 911 report.
-MCSO was notified
that Shane Dean Stottlemire,
21, was arrested by Umatilla
PD on a M orrow County
Irrigon Justice Court war­
rant for failure to pay fine/
DUII.

Christopher Michael Swope,
30, for assault IV domestic
and harassment.
-M C S O a rre s te d
Carol Jean Klein, 66, for
DUII and resisting arrest.
K lein was also cited for
refusing a breath test.
-BPD received report
o f a domestic in progress.
The female caller stated that
her husband was assaulting
her. BPD arrested Roberto
N avarro M edina, 42, for
domestic harassment.
