take in the whole commu
nity event. The Parade o f
Lights will kick off the eve
ning event at 6 p.m. with all
other activities to be held at
the Elks Lodge immediately
following the parade.
The Elks Lodge will
serve a beef stroganoff din
ner - $10 adult; $6 child up
to 12 years o f age. Plan on
coming and eating as a fam
ily and enjoying the whole
evening. D raw ing names
for w inners w ill start at 7:30
p.m., so make sure you get
there in time to drop your
rewards cards in the prize
boxes prior to that time.
As a point o f clarifi
cation, you must be present
to win the rew ards cards
prizes, but you do not have
to be present to win the
Chamber Raffle Baskets. If
you are a w inner o f one of
the four baskets, the cham
ber will contact you if you
are not present and make ar
rangements to get the basket
to you.

aged warmer than normal

vember.
The average temper
ature was 45.7 degrees which
was 4.4 degrees above nor
mal. High temperatures av
eraged 54.9 degrees, which
was 4.8 degrees above nor
mal. The highest was 69
degrees on November 13.
Low temperatures averaged
36.5 degrees, which was 4.0
degrees above normal. The
lowest was 24 degrees, on
the November 24.

ture below 32 degrees.
Precipitation totaled
0.78 inches during Novem
ber, which was 1.02 inches
below normal. Measurable
precipitation -at least .01
inch- was received on 15
days with the heaviest, 0.22
inches reported on Novem
ber 4.

cember from NOAA’s Cli
mate Prediction Center calls
for near normal tem pera
tures and near normal pre
cipitation. Normal highs for
Heppner during December
are 42.2 degrees and normal
lows are 26.7 degrees. The
30 year normal precipitation
is 1.35 inches.

required. Those attending
are asked to meet in the
hospital lobby. A light snack
will be provided through

Town & Country will be held on Thursday, January 15, starting at 6 p.m. The
event will be held at the fairgrounds this year to accommodate more seating. The caterer
will be "Puddin on the Ritz.” Cost for the dinner will be $20 per person.
