Willow Creek Symphony
and Singers to hold concerts

December is a very busy month for the Heppner
Garden Club. A G reen’s Workshop will be held on De­
cember 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the fair grounds. This
workshop will be held after the club makes wreathes,
swags, crosses and arrangements for sale. Orders need to
be made to Ida Farra at 676-9446 from November 24-28.
The public will be able to pick up their orders from 9 a.m.
to 5 p.m. December 3-5.
The Garden Club will hold their regular meeting
on December 8 at 7 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Senior Center.
Joe and JoAnne Burleson and Peggy Conner will host this
meeting. Members are encouraged to bring their Christmas
treats for this meeting. The program will be evaluating their
annual wreath-making project. Music will be provided by
Joe Lindsay.
On January 5, a Garden Club meeting will be held
at the Senior Center at 1:30 p.m. The Shepard Flat Wind
Farm will be discussed. Chuck and Betty Bailey and Mabel
Heath will be the hosts.

Tom Norton will be speaking at the Heppner Chris­
tian Church on Sunday, November 23. He will be speaking
about his mission’s trips to Russia and his work in summer
camps and with orphans.
Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m. and services
begin at 10:45 a.m.
