This year at county
fair, the chapter is proud
to introduce several new
c o n te s ts : on T h u rsd a y
afternoon we will have a
(beginning) floral design
contest, which will consist
o f creating a boutonniere
and a three-flower hud vase

Country
Rose has
volunteered to donate all of
the flowers needed for this
contest, and the contest is
open to FFA members from
M orrow County. A nother
new contest that is open
to M orrow C o u n ty FFA
members is a tractor driving
contest. It will consist o f a
serpentine obstacle course
and wi l l be o ffere d on
Wednesday, after weigh-in
(TO a.in.).

Urban Octopi to entertain at
Murray’s Wine & Beer Tasting
The entertainment for the Murray’s-Country Rose
Wine & Micro Beer Tasting is the Urban Octopi Band (for­
merly Beatnik Blues Band). They will be performing from
7-9 p.m. on Thursday night. So enjoy your wine and micro­
beer and listen to Jeff Currin, Kevin Drake and friends.
Dance to be held after fair
On Friday night at
the fair the band Joe Shinkle
& 99 West will be perform­
ing for a dance on the foot­
ball field. So come down
for some “Hoof Poundin' &
Heart Pumpin'fun at the fair
and the OTPR.
