lone National Honor Society hosts Youth Track Meet
The lone c h a p te r
o f the National Honor So
ciety hosted their 3rd an
nual Youth Track Meet last
Sunday. The young a th
letes participated in several
events, including a tennis
ball throw, standing broad
jum p and running events
ranging from 25M to 400M.
Ribbons were awarded in all
age groups for each event.
M embers o f the National
H onor Society, the lone
Track team , and several
o th e r h igh sc h o o l s tu
dents all helped make the
track meet fun for every
participant and spectator.
The Youth Track Meet is a
community service project
for the NHS chapter. Do
nations were accepted for
Creative Care Preschool in
the amount of $120.
