Sheriff's Report
The Morrow County
Sheriff’s Office reports han­
dling the following busi­
ness:
-Continued from page ten
stolen at the school.
-Boardman Police
Dept, received a report from
a caller in Boardman that a
78 year old male had fallen
multiple times during the
night. He was not hurt but
was weak.
-Boardman Police
Dept, officer arrested Keith
Allen Axtell, 38, for Failure
to Maintain Metal Purchase
Records. He was lodged at
the Umatilla County Jail.
The vehicle was impound­
ed.
-Irrigon Ambulance
received a report from a
caller in Irrigon that an
84 year old woman had
passed out. She woke up
and started vomiting. The
patient was transported to
Good Shepherd Hospital in
Hermiston.
-H eppner A m bu­
lance received a report from
a caller in Heppner that a 75
year old male could not get
up. He was not hurt; he just
needed help getting up.
March 28: -MCSO
received a report from a
caller in Boardman that a
farmer in the area did some
backhoe work on his place
that interfered with a county
road department project.
-MCSO received a
request for a welfare check
from a caller who hadn’t
been able to contact his
aunt since last December.
Dispatch tried to contact the
subject by phone but there
was no answer.
-MCSO received a
report from Boardman Po­
lice Dept, that there were
two people in the lobby at
the police department and
there was a restraining order
in effect. Enrique Suarez
Lopez, 40, was arrested by
BPD for Restraining Order
Violation and lodged at the
Umatilla County Jail.
-MCSO received a
report from a caller in Hep­
pner that the day before, a
male subject called claim­
ing to be from the Social
Security office. The subject
refused to say why he was
calling or what it was about,
but said he would come to
her house for a house visit.
The caller called the Social
Security office and they
said they are not sending
anyone out and do not let
the male subject in. The
caller requested extra patrol
in the area.
-MCSO received
a request for information
from a caller in Lexington
regarding a vehicle that has
been on her property for two
or more years. The caller
would like it removed and
wanted to know the legality
of disposing of it.
-MCSO received a
report from a caller in Ir­
rigon of four dogs at large.
A female subject was cited
for Dog at Large.
-MCSO received a
report from a caller in Hep­
pner of two large dogs (pit
bulls) killing a smaller dog.
A male subject was cited for
Dog at Large x2.
-MCSO received a
report from a caller in Ir­
rigon of a dog at large on
the caller’s sister’s property
again with the cattle.
-MCSO deputy was
flagged down a citizen in Ir­
rigon who advised that they
believe someone is going
into a mobile court space
which is vacant. An extra
patrol was requested.
-MCSO received a
report from Oregon State
Police of a vehicle stolen
out of Hermiston that has
several juveniles in it who
were driving crazily, flip­
ping people off and stopping
in front of other cars.
-MCSO deputy cit­
ed a juvenile male subject
for Violation of the Speed
Limit, 68 mph in a 55 mph
zone and Failure to Carry
Proof of Insurance; cited
both Robert J. Bosworth,
19, and William D. Jones,
19, for MIP-Alcohol, and
cited another juvenile male
subject for Possession of a
Controlled Substance Less
than One Oz. Marijuana and
MIP-Alcohol.
-MCSO received a
report from a caller in Irrig­
on that her dog was missing.
It was tied with a harness;
the harness was there but
was unclipped. The caller
later advised the dog was
found about a mile from
home running on the road
with a neighbor’s dog. The
caller requested a deputy
contact.
-MCSO received a
report from the hospital that
they received a call from
a female subject that her
mother in lone was very ill
and her husband won’t let
her go to the hospital via
ambulance. The hospital
requested an ambulance and
deputy respond. A deputy
and the lone ambulance re­
sponded.
-Boardman Police
Dept, received a report from
a caller in Boardman that she
is living with her boyfriend.
He pushed her outside. The
caller wanted to know if she
could get her stuff. The call­
er called back and advised
her mother was enroute to
pick her up and that no as­
sistance was needed.
-Boardman Police
Dept, officer advised he was
following a possible DUII
on 1-84. It was determined
not to be a DUII, just an
extremely tired driver.
-Boardman Ambu­
lance received a request for
an ambulance from a caller
in Boardman for a 46 year
old male who was having
a possible heart attack. The
patient was transported to
Good Shepherd Hospital in
Hermiston.
March 29: -MCSO
deputy advised he was
checking on a male subject
who was possibly sleeping
in a vehicle alongside the
road on Highway 207.
-MCSO received a
report from a caller in Irri­
gon that he had 3 or 4 checks
stolen.
-MCSO received a
report from a caller in Hep­
pner that a water pipe broke
and the water needed to be
shut off. Dispatch advised
the on-call city worker.
-MCSO deputy cited
Abbie S. Joseph-Harrington,
47, for Violation of the Basic
Rule, 76 mph in a 55 mph
zone.
-MCSO received a
report from a caller on 1-84
that while he was at the 1-84
eastbound rest area, he heard
screaming coming from a
van. The caller advised he
made contact with a female
subject who said they have
a hyperactive child and the
only way to control her is to
restrain her. A deputy made
contact with the mother and
the juvenile and the juvenile
said she was mad because
she wasn’t going to get to
watch TV tomorrow and she
was throwing a fit. It was
determined that no crime
was committed.
-MCSO received a
report from a caller that a
ewe just had two baby lambs
and the caller was concerned
that coyotes will get the
lambs as the rest of the sheep
are gone.
-MCSO deputy ar­
rested Mark Robert Er­
ickson, 40, for Failure to
Maintain Metal Records
and on a Marion County
Felony warrant. Travis Le­
roy Davis, 33, was arrested
for Unlawful Possession of
Methamphetamine. Both
were lodged at the Umatilla
County Jail.
-MCSO received a
report from a caller of a
trespass in progress with
subjects riding bikes in a
prohibited area.
-MCSO received a
request for information from
a caller in Boardman. Her
husband bailed a female out
of jail in Kennewick using
a car title loan. The caller
had questions regarding the
legality of turning her in out
of state.
-MCSO received
a report from a caller in
Boardman that the caller’s
daughter’s car was keyed
sometime during the day.
-MCSO received
a report from a caller in
Boardman that subjects
staying at a motel were
giving them problems. The
subjects were advised they
have until a certain time to
pack and leave - they were
trespassed from the motel.
March 30: -MCSO
received a report from a
caller in Heppner that a
male subject was tearing up
the house. It was a verbal
dispute but had threatened
to harm animals.
