in the region. It will be held
at the Heppner Public Li
brary, 444 N. Main St., from
9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is hosted
by the Oregon Trail Library
District.
D esigned to over
come apprehension about
buying and selling on-line,
the class will prepare par
ticipants to become smart
shoppers and successful
sellers on the Internet. The
focus will be on eBay, by far
the largest venue for buying
and selling a wide variety of
items from all over the world
on-line. The workshop will
consist of two four-hour ses

concluding at 5 p.m. with a
one-hour lunch break.

eBay for nine years, dealing
with customers and vendors
in 49 states and 20 foreign
countries.
Based on his expe

with the basics o f register
ing with eBay and under
standing how its auctions
work and will move up to
a higher skills level. There
will be tips on finding bar

step-by-step demonstration
will show how to create an
actual eBay auction.
Options for payment
and shipping, as well as
techniques for giving and re
ceiving great customer ser
vice also will be covered.
“Whether you know
next to nothing about eBay,
or know something but want
to know more, want to have
active eBay income sideline
or just sell a few items, this
class should prove helpful,”
Jones said.
The w orkshop has
