Boardman to sponsor
spring clean up
The City of Board-
man will sponsor a com­
munity-wide clean-up the
month of April.
The City has gar­
bage vouchers available,
with a $50 limit, to residents
of the City of Boardman.
The vouchers are valid dur­
ing the month of April at
Finley Butte Landfill and
Now In!
the North Morrow Transfer
Station.
The garbage voucher
program encourages citizens
to clean up their residences
by disposing of yard debris.
City residents may pick up
their vouchers at Boardman
City Hall at 200 City Center
Circle beginning April 1.

SO deputy advised he was
contacted by a citizen in
Boardman who reported
subjects at the port area
shooting ducks. The deputy
and Boardman Police were
unable to locate anyone or
hear any shooting at the
area.
-MCSO deputy ad­
vised he found a railroad
tie on fire at the east end of
Pleasant View near the ca­
nal. It was determined to be
a West Extension controlled
bum and they will come and
put out the fire.
-MCSO received a
hang-up 911 call from a
location in Boardman. On
call-back, it was determined
that all was okay; a grand­
child had been playing with
the phone.
-MCSO, Boardman
Police Dept, received a re­
port from a caller in Board-
man that a male subject
was making comments to
another subject. The male
subject had a gun in the
waistband of his jeans. A
deputy advised he was un­
able to locate the subject.
-MCSO received a
report from a caller in lone
that someone was in her
shop when she got home and
the caller saw someone run
out and go behind the house.

Sheriff’s Office reports han­
dling the following busi­
ness:
The caller also found a dead
cat in her garage. A deputy
contact was requested.
-MCSO, Boardman
Police Dept, received a re­
port from a caller in Board-
man that an unknown male
subject was going through
their backyard. Units were
unable to locate anyone in
that area.
-Boardman Police
Dept, officer arrested Cres­
cendo Mendoza Carreon,
32, for DUII, Harassment,
Criminal Mischief II x2, Dis
Con. The subject was lodged
at the Umatilla County Jail
and the vehicle impounded.
An ambulance was request­
ed for the subject who in­
jured himself; transport was
refused.
-Boardman Police
Dept, officer arrested Ralph
Carl Greer, 48, for DUII. The
vehicle was impounded.
-Boardman Police
Dept, received a report from
a caller in Boardman of a pit
bull at large. The dog did
not look aggressive but the
caller saw two small girls
walking a dog a bit further
down the street and was
worried there might be a
problem with the pit bull.
Feb. 12:-MCSO re­
ceived a report from a caller
of a suspicious vehicle go­
ing westbound on the south
side of the railroad tracks.
It was determined to be a
Union Pacific Railroad ve­
hicle out to do maintenance
on the tracks.
-MCSO received
a report from a caller in
Boardman that someone hit
her dog yesterday and they

ceived a request for an am­
bulance from a caller in
Boardman for a 63 year
old female who was having
trouble breathing and had a
possible stroke.
-MCSO deputy re­
ported receiving a phone
call at his residence last
night from a caller in lrrigon
who advised he was having
problems with his landlord
and wanted MCSO to be
aware of it. It was a civil
issue.
-MCSO deputy ar­
rested Salvador Marquez-
Martinez, 39, on Probable
Cause Charges of Criminal
Possession of a Forged In­
strument I and ID Theft. The
subject was lodged at the
Umatilla County Jail.
-MCSO deputy cited
Gerardo Villegas Salazar,
25, for Failure to Use Seat
Belt.
-MCSO deputy cited
a male subject for Violation
of the Basic Rule, 73 mph
in a 55 mph zone and No
Operator’s License.
-MCSO received a
request from a caller in Irri-
gon who wanted to fill out a
stalking complaint; a deputy
contact was requested. The
temporary stalking com­
plaint was served to a female
subject.
