trustee, in favor of Budget
Finance Company, as benefi­
ciary, dated March 30, 2007,
recorded Apri I 23, 2007, in the
mortgage records of Morrow
County, Oregon, as Microfilm
No. 2007-19204. the beneficial
interest thereafter being as­
signed to Budget Funding I,
LLC, by instrument recorded
as No. 2007-19582 on June 18,
2007, covering the following
described real property situ­
ated in the above-mentioned
county and state, to-wit: All
that portion of Lot 4, Block 2
West, Section 25, Township
5 North, Range 26, East of
the Willamette Meridian, in

described as follows: Begin­

and the trust deed reinstated

due had no default occurred)
and by curing any other de­
fault complained of herein
that is capable of being cured
by tendering the performance
required under the obligation
or trust deed, and in addition
to paying said sums or tender­
ing the performance necessary
to cure the default, by paying
all costs and expenses actually
incurred in enforcing the obli­
gation and trust deed, together
with trustee’s and attorney’s
fees not exceeding the amounts

singular includes the plural,
the word “grantor” includes
any successor in interest to the
grantor as well as any other
person owing an obligation,
the performance of which is
secured by said trust deed
and the words “trustee” and
“beneficiary” include their
respective successors in in­
terest, if any. The Federal

Damage. He was lodged at

that a student was smoking a
cigarette on school grounds.
The student left the school
grounds. MCSO responded
and a citation was issued.

Local soldier treats Iraqi kids
One of Morrow Counties' own residents, Phil Morris, a former
sergeant for the M orrow County Sheriff’s Office currently in
Iraq training men to be police officers, takes time to pass candy
out to the local children.
Kalal meets Norris
As Shakespeare put it, "A ll the world's a stage, and all the men
and women merely players" (,4s You Like It). On November 27
Heppner High School's drama club led by drama coach Jodi
Chapa proved him right by presenting the rollicking musical
Kiss Me Kate, a play within a play based on Shakespeare's Tam-
ing o f the Shrew. Heppner High School's version of this Broad­
way production also played on November 29, 30 and December
2. The cast regaled the audience with song and dance routines,
the most notable of w hich w as “Too Darn Hot." The cast includ­
ed Jason Houweling as Petruchio/Fred Graham. Kolleen Chapa
as Kate/Lilli Vanessi, James Kembert as Lucentio/Bill C alhoun,
and Jenna Bowman as Bianca/Lois Lane.
A ir Force Staff Sergeant Robert Kalal, stationed in Turkey,
recently met Chuck Norris on November 25. Kalal is the son of
Sunday Dyer of Ruggs. He is the brother of Forrest Reed.

Susie French, organizer of the Pendleton Cowboy Country
Christmas, spent the weekend making cheer for many lo­
cal residents in Morrow County. French spends many hours
organizing the “Cowboy Christmas" held in Pendleton each
year that makes money for children who aren't as fortunate as
others. She has a group of shoppers that collects gifts for the
recipients and another group of wrappers that spend Sunday
wrapping and organizing the gifts that they deliver to the Hep­
pner Neighborhood Center. This is French's 14th year deliver­
ing Christmas cheer. Pictured are Susie French. Warren Givens
