Sheriff's Report
The Morrow County
Sheriff’s Office reports han­
dling the following busi­
ness:
June 27: The Mor­
row County Sheriff’s O f­
fice received a report from
an Irrigon woman that the
people who are living in
her m other’s house were
not treating her properly
and were disrespectful to
her. She also said that her
mother was ill and not get­
ting help. The caller later
advised MCSO to disregard
the report as her mother was
moving in w ith her.

report o f a non-injury mo­
tor vehicle accident one to
two miles off the Western
Route Rd. towards Divide
W ells w ith three people
in the vehicle. There were
no injuries. Peter Anthony
Geer, 19, was cited for care­
less driving.
-MCSO, Boardman
Police Department received
an open 911 call with some­
one crying or whimpering
in the background before
the call was disconnected.
Everything was okay;
-MCSO received a
com plaint from a subject
that as he attempted to pass
a truck, the driver slammed
on his brakes. After speak­
ing with a deputy, the caller
said he would contact the
driver's employer and lodge
a complaint,
-MCSO received a
report from an Irrigon juve­
nile that her brother had just
assaulted her.
-MCSO received re­
port from a Heppner man

that half o f his medications
are missing and no one had
a key to his house.
-MCSO received re­
port from an Irrigon woman
that her 15-year-old daugh­
ter had run away. The mother
found the daughter while she
was talking to dispatch.
-MCSO received re­
port o f a 13-year-old riding
a four-wheeler up and down
the street all the time in Ir­
rigon. A deputy found the
complaint to be unfounded.
-MCSO received re­
port from an Irrigon man that
his eight-year-old grand­
daughter was bitten by the
neighbor’s dog. He reported
that the bite barely broke the
skin and the neighbors were
cooperative. A deputy made
contact and the issue was
going to be handled civilly.

BPD with a fight.
-MCSO received re­
port o f five kids “attempting
to find trouble" by the Hair 1
Am Salon and then went to
Heppner Family Foods and
shook the doors. They were
not located.
-BPD received re­
port from a subject at Lamb
Weston reporting an ammo­
nia alarm going off. It was a
false alarm.
-BPD received re­
port o f a plastic pink fla­
mingo at a residence with a
note on it requesting that the
flamingo be passed on.
-BPD received re­
port of young males fighting,
one with a baseball bat.
-BPD received re­
port o f two people fighting
at a Boardman apartment.
Luella Audery Jones, 35,
was arrested on an Irri­
gon Justice Court warrant
for C rim inal Trespass I.
She was lodged at Umatilla

County Jail.
-H eppner Fire De­
partment received request
from Heppner Ambulance
for assistance in moving a
patient.
-H e p p n e r A m b u ­
lance received report o f a
57-year-old man who had
fallen from a standing posi­
tion. According to the report,
he had been working under
the sink. He was reported
to be not talking coherently,
unable to move his arms or
legs and his face appeared to
be drooping. It was thought
that he had a stroke, but it
was determined that he was
a diabetic and “overdid it.”
Ju n e 28: MCSO re­
ceived report o f a deer hit
by a vehicle with its back
legs broken and needing to
be put down in Highway 74/
Meadow Brook Rd., Lex­
ington. There was no MCSO
unit on duty. Oregon State
Police and Oregon Depart­
ment o f Transportation were
advised.

report o f telephone harass­
ment in Heppner. The victim
o f the harassment made con­
tact with the suspect and the
suspect told her she should
be ashamed.
-MCSO received re­
port from an Irrigon man
that his 18-year-old son was
trying to break the windows
to his house.
-MCSO received re­
port from an lone man that
he was receiving harassing
phone calls from the mother
o f his children.
-MCSO arrested a
subject in Irrigon on prob­
able cause for failing to
register as a sex offender.

sev eral reports o f an elderly
female walking on Kunze
Rd., out o f the Boardman
City limits, possibly con­
fused. She refused offers of
a ride.
-M C SO re c e iv e d
two hang-up 911 calls with
what sounded like a baby
playing w ith the phone.
MCSO was unable to call
the number back.
-M C SO re c e iv e d
two additional 911 calls
in Irrigon. A juvenile had
misdialed.
-MCSO received re­
port of a car transport falling
of a truck in front of deputies
in Boardman.

Police Department arresting
Orlando Cruz Lopez, 22, on
an Irrigon Justice Court war­
rant for Failure to Pay Fine/
Driving While Suspended.
He was lodged at Umatilla
County Jail.

port of juveniles running up
and down Baltimore St. in
Heppner possibly past cur­
few. The caller was advised
that it was not past curfew
and she declined to have
deputy contact.

reports o f two gunshots
between a Pioneer Dr. resi­
dence and Pioneer Memorial
Hospital in Heppner. It was
determined to be fireworks.
-MCSO received re­
port from a female juvenile
in Irrigon that her brother is
throwing his mother around.
Kelie Eileen Dike, 38, was
arrested for A ssau lt IV-
Domestic Violence (felo­
ny) and lodged at Umatilla
County Jail.

Police Department received
report o f a suspicious pick­
up with a horse trailer on
Wilson Lane/Olson Road
in Boardman. The pickup
was reported to park and
shut its lights off and then
turn the lights on again and
drive towards a bam around
10:30 p.m. The subjects said
they had just dropped off 11
cattle in the field.

Ambulance received report
o f someone cutting his hand
while he was throwing away
garbage at a Boardman ser­
vice station.
-BPD received re­
port o f an unattended five
year old girl at the Boardman
Marina. The call was deter­
mined to be unfounded.
-BPD officer advised
that he was en route to a
welfare check on a woman
in Boardman. The subject
thought she was in Irrigon.
The officer determined that
because she was in good
health and refused to go w ith
him, he couldn’t force her to
go with him or go home.
-BPD cited Artemio
Montes Rua, 22, for No Op­
erator’s License and Driving
Uninsured. The vehicle was
impounded.
-BPD received re­
port o f a Golden Lab run­
ning up and down Board-
man Ave. all day.
-BPD officer heard
loud ex p lo sio n s com ing
from Wilson Rd. It was de­
termined to be fireworks and
the subject was warned not
to set them off or he would
be cited.
-Irrigon Fire Depart­
ment, Irrigon Ambulance
received report o f a yard on
fire behind M iller’s Cross­
ing in Irrigon with a house
threatened.
-H e p p n e r A m b u ­
lance received report o f
76-year-old woman with
slurred speech, her side
drooping and having diffi­
culty breathing on Main St.
in Heppner.
J u n e 29: M CSO ,
Irrigon Ambulance received
request for an ambulance
from an Irrigon man who
said his 73-year-old wife
had fallen and was not able
to get up. A deputy arrived
on the scene and assisted
and the a m b u lan ce w as
cancelled.

report from a w om an in
Heppner that her sister and
the sister’s boyfriend had
not yet arrived as expected
by 3 a.m. They were tow­
ing a boat and were last
heard from in Hood River
at around 11:30 p.m. The
subject said she would wait
another to see if they w ould
arrive. The sister called at
3:54 a.m. to tell her that they
were almost in Heppner.

to assist Boardman Police
Department w ith a report o f
two males and three females
going around banging on
doors. They were asked to
leave, but they continued.
-M CSO responded
to assist BPD on an arrest.
BOD arrested James Gary
Johnson, 43, in an Irrigon
Justice Court warrant for
Failure to Pay Fine/Driving
While Suspended.
-MCSO received re­
port o f a fire alarm at the city
o f Irrigon southw est shop. It
was a false alarm.

David Ramirez, 24, on an
Irrigon Justice Court war­
rant for Failure to Pay Fine/
DU II. He was lodged at
Umatilla County Jail.
-MCSO received a
911 hang up call from an
Irrigon residence. MCSO
contacted the babysitter and
advised her to keep the kids
off the phone.

report from BPD o f an un­
wanted person at a Board-
man residence. Officer ad­
vised to upgrade the report
to a domestic disturbance in
progress. Jody Lynn Lemon,
27, was arrested for H a­
rassment and lodged at the
Umatilla County Jail.
