Sheriff's Report
The Morrow County
Sheriff's Office reports han­
dling the following business:
Feh. 22: -MCSO received a
report about a rockslide
p a rtia lly b locking the
roadway on the Upper Rhea
Creek Rd in Heppner.
-MCSO and BPD received
a report about a male that
grabbed a female by the
neck. The reporter witnessed
this and then saw the female
walking towards the high
school and the male was
walking towards the trailer
apartments.
-MCSO received a report
about an attempted break in.
-MCSO received a report
about a strange man that
w ent to the re p o rte r’s
residence and told him that
he was there to cut all the
trees down.
-M C SO
re ceiv ed
an
abandoned 911 hang-up call.
-MCSO received a report
about a stolen saddle. The
saddle was o rig in ally
bo rro w ed and la te r the
subject quit her job and took
off with the saddle.
-MCSO received a report
about
the
re p o rte r's
n e ig h b o rs playing loud
music.
-MCSO responded to a male
subject who felt like he was
having a heart attack.
-BPD receiv ed a rep o rt
about a garage door that
looked like it had been pried
open. The house was
possibly abandoned.
-BPD issued a citation to
Gabino Gonzalez Gonzalez,
26, for no operating license.
-BPD
re ceiv ed
an
abandoned 9 1 1 hang-up call
from a p ayphone in
Boardman.

receiv ed
an
abandoned 911 hang-up call.

A m bulance
assisted a su b ject in
Lexington with breathing
problems.
-Heppner FD responded to
a fire alarm at the St. Pat's
Senior Center in Heppner.
Feb. 2: -M CSO arrested
Erik A. O rteg a, 20, for
failing to appear.
-MCSO received a report
about a semi-truck driving
erratically at high rate of
speed.
-MCSO issued a citation to
a ju v e n ile d riv er for no
operating license and driving
uninsured.
-MCSO received a report
about a truck on fire that was
off road. All subjects were
out of the vehicle.
-MCSO received a report
about tw o pigs that ran
away. The pigs were later
accounted for.
-MCSO received a report
about the reporter receiving
prank calls in Irrigon.
-MCSO received a report
that there was a muffler part
in the center of the left lane
right after the curve 84 exit
on 82.

assistance for a bleeding,
conscious, breathing male
subject at the reporter’s front
door.
-MCSO received a report

-MCSO received a report
that a dog was barking on a
constant basis. The reporter
requested a deputy to talk to
the owner's.
-MCSO responded to BPD
shots fired call. The reporter
stated that someone just shot
out three of his w indows.
-MCSO issued a citation to
Octavio Gutierrez, 18, for
violating the basic rule by
going 98 mph in a 55 mph
zone.
-BPD received a report that
someone had set up targets
and p racticin g them in
Boardman.
-BPD warned a male subject
for failing to maintain use of
lane.
-B PD receiv ed a report
about a voluntary surrender
o f dog, tw o pit bulls
surrendered.
-BPD issued a citation to
M arisela Rodelo, 30, for
violating speed lim it by
going 50 mph in a 30 mph
zone.
-BPD issued a citation to
Matthew S. Jurcich, 35, for
going 50 mph in a 30 mph
zone.
-BPD issued a citation to
Douglas John Pope, 58, for
violating the speed limit by
going 43 mph in a 30 mph
zone.
-BPD received a report that
resident was lying along the
side of the road. There were
no physical problems, an
officer was requested.
-BPD receiv ed a report
about a 23-year-old male
that had an allergic reaction.

-BPD issued a citation to
Mario Montes Lemus, 41,
for violating the speed limit
by going 52 mph in a 40 mph
zone.
-BPD issued a citation to
Michelle Dawn Terry, 20, for
driving while suspended.

about a possible fight in
progress.

there was a vehicle parked
at the walkway to boats at
the m arina. No one was
around and the vehicle had
been there for a while.
-BPD received a report that
a male subject was seen
d riv in g
th ro u g h
the
construction site and various
backyards.
-BPD w as advised by a
reporter that someone drove
by and shot out tw o
windows on his travel trailer
and one on the pickup. BPD
responded.

responded to a 15 year old
female who had hit her head
on the floor.
Feb. 3: -MCSO received a
report that Hermiston PD
arrested Javier Victor Bucio
Lopez, 36, on a Heppner
Circuit Court for failing to
appear for M enacing and
Harassment.
-MCSO received a report
about a female walking and
acting suspicious. MCSO
responded and the female
subject was looking for her
husband in Irrigon.
-MCSO assisted a motorist
who was stranded.
-MCSO issued a citation to
Nihad Bajramovic, 22, for
failing to obey a traffic
control device and driving
left at an intersection.
-MCSO received a report
that a reporter bought an
impound vehicle and the
previous owner was possibly
involved with drugs. The
reporter requested a K-9
search of the vehicle.
-MCSO received a report
that a deputy left a message
w ith the wife of Toby Dale
Rodriguez had one hour to
turn himself in for a circuit
warrant for failing to appear
for felony possession of
firearm.
-MCSO received a report
that the reporter heard dogs
barking and the dogs only
bark when someone walks
by.
-MCSO received a report
that the reporter’s husband
was yelling and screaming.
The wife stated that he had
not been drinking but she
does not know about drugs.
There were weapons in the
house.
-MCSO received a report
that the reporter's wife and
son had left lone this
morning to go to Hermiston
and had not arrived.
-MCSO received a report
that th ere
was fire
underneath a train. The train
was along Hwy 14 in
Washington. The call was
tra n sfe rre d to B enton
County.
-MCSO received a report
about an on-going problem
with the rep o rter’s sewer
line. The reporter requested
that Public Works be notified
in Heppner.
-M C SO receiv ed a 911
hang-up call. W hen the
d ep u ty
ch eck ed
the
residence in lone, no one
was home and there were no
signs of any problems.
-MCSO received a report
that an employee's girlfriend
took the reporter's work cell
and won’t give it back.
-MCSO issued a citation to
Stanley Dean Huling, 43, for
violating the basic rule by
going 74 mph in a 55 mph
zone.
-MCSO issued a citation to
Taomi Matthew, 34, for dogs
running at large x 3.
Feb. 26: -MCSO received a
rep o rt about a vehicle
parked with its lights on for
a long time.
-MCSO received a report
about a crooked Yield Sign
in Boardman that was about
to fall over.
-MCSO received a report
about an audible alarm from
an Irrigon residence.
-MCSO received a report
about a verbal disturbance
between a male and a female
subject in front on The Video
Store in Heppner.
-MCSO received a report
about a sem i that was
loosing rocks and debris out
of the back.
-MCSO received a report
that a male subject wrote six
checks that were bad. The
male subject was contacted
and advised if he paid for the
bad checks, charges would
not be pressed.
-MCSO received a report
about a hit and run that
occurred in Stanfield.
-MCSO received a report
that the re p o rte r was
receiving bad checks from
Chemstar Corporation.

receiv ed
an
abandoned 911 hang-up call.
-BPD receiv ed a report
about a verbal d isp u te
involved a female crying and
a male screaming. There was
a female child that was also
crying outside, pleading with
the parents not to fight.

w ith
Boardman Ambulance with
a p o ssib le 4 7 -y ear-o ld
seizure subject.
-BPD a rre sted M ario
Herlino Chojolan Garcia, 43,
for failing to pay fine for
driving while suspended.
-BPD received a report that
the reporter had their purse
stolen after someone had
broken into their vehicle.
-BPD received a report from
an au d ib le alarm in the
computer lab in a Boardman
School. All the doors where
checked and the building
was found secu red . The
principal said the alarm was
a sensor and they have had
problems with it in the past.
-B oardm an A m bulance
received a report about a
man out of his wheelchair.
The man was helped back in
his chair and there seemed to
be no further problems.
-Boardman FD received a
report about a brush fire that
was on the north side of the
freeway between the ramp
and the freeway. The fire was
determined to be by ODOT
burning tumbleweeds in the
area. They d id n 't advise
D isp atch w hich is in
vio latio n o f fire d istrict
burning rules.

assisted a fem ale with a
nosebleed.
Feb. 27: MCSO received a
rep o rt from a night
w atchm an regarding two
vehicles that pulled out of a
gravel pit. There was no sign
of theft or criminal mischief.
The night watchman advised
he would recheck the area in
the morning.
-MCSO received a report
that there were 20 cows in a
sm all area w est o f the
re p o rte r’s house and the
smell of the cows was so
strong that it choked you up.
-MCSO received a report
that there was a request for
a deputy to come by and
look at e v id en c e o f a
shoplifter that was recorded
from the previous night.
-MCSO received a report
about reddish with white
face and white feet dog out
near
the
r e p o rte r’s
sw im m ing pool eating a
chicken or some type of bird.
-MCSO received a report
that there were signs put up
w ith o u t
p e rm its
or
permission. The signs were
taken down and the owners
advised they would contact
City Hall for appropriate
permit.
-MCSO and BPD received
a report about a reporter that
heard a gunshot that came
east from her residence in
Boardman by the cul de sac.
The reporter called back
later and advised it was not
a gunshot she heard, but an
aerosol can in the neighbor's
burning barrel.
-MCSO received a report
that three dogs had been
bark in g since the early
morning. This is an ongoing
problem for the reporter.
