Sheriff's Report
The Morrow County
Sheriff’s Office reports han­
dling the following business:
-MCSO warned a driver for
blocking the driveway at the
Forest Service in Heppner.
-MC'SO received a report
about a cat that needed to be
put down. The cat was very
sick and hardly able to walk.
The cat was going to be
transported to Pet Rescue.
-MCSO received a report
that a washing machine was
taken from a residence in
Boardman.
-MCSO, Heppner FD and

Vehicle Accident on Hwy
207 MP 18 tow ard s
Hermiston. The driver was
believed to be injured or
possibly fatal. A second
caller reported that the driver
was conscious and breathing
and lying outside the vehicle
w ith lots of blood around.
-MCSO received a report

-BPD officer was out at
location for theft complaint.
The officer made contact
with the suspect and the
owner and they worked out
an agreement.
-BPD received an accidental
911 call from the Morrow
County School District in
Boardman.
-BPD received a report that
the reporter’s vehicle had
been stolen. The vehicle had
not been stolen; it was
repoed later that day.
Jan . 30: -MCSO received a
report that two chain saws
were tak en from the
reporter.
-MCSO issued a citation to
Sandra Lee Browning, 53,
for Violating the Basic Rule
by going 77 mph in a 55 mph
zone.
-MCSO received a report
about hit and run property
damage. The vehicle hit the
fence and then drove off. The
deputy made contact and
both p arties cam e to a
private agreement.
-MCSO received a report
about a dirt bike stolen from
the reporter in Irrigon.
-MCSO received a report
that the reporter’s husband’s
pickup was dam ag ed in
Boardman while parked at
RDO Farms.
-MCSO received a request
for a deputy to ask questions
regarding a trailer stolen
from the Boardman area that
was recovered in Wallowa
County.
-MCSO had a deputy out at
location for an Open Shop
door. There was no activity
inside the building.
-M CSO received a report
that a pit bull was chasing
students at the lone School.
A deputy responded talked
to the dog o w n er and
advised them, the next time
they will be given a citation.
-M CSO received a report
that som eone had been
claiming all of the reporter's
unem ploym ent since last

Boardman.
-M CSO received a report
that som eone had com e
flying down the hill and ran
over her cat. The reporter
requested extra patrol on the
hill. MCSO responded and
will have extra patrol during
the bus times to slow the
traffic down.

and there was no sign of any
damage.

about a dog in a garage. The

Hermiston Vet Clinic.

hand report about a brush
fire near the substation on
Baseline Rd.
Feb. 3: -MCSO received a
report that the rep o rter's
ring was m isp laced at
Bucknunts in Heppner. The
reporter felt that perhaps it
w as sto len . A d eputy
checked and the ring is lost
not sto len and w ill ask
around if someone has found
it.
-MCSO received a report
about a non-injury, non-
blo ck in g M otor V ehicle
Accident half a mile east of
county line. A deer is dead.

Vehicle Accident involving
two adults and two juveniles.
OSP took the report and a
two was dispatched.

that four m iles east o f
Boardman there was a non­
injury slide off Motor Vehicle
Accident. The vehicle is in
the m edian, and was
removed later. Boardman
FD assisted.
-MCSO assisted OSP with a
Motor Vehicle Accident.
-MCSO received a report
about a vehicle with its four
way Bashers on. The vehicle
had c lea re d b efo re the
deputy arrived.
-MCSO and Boardman FD
received a report about a
non-injury M otor Vehicle
Accident. A white Chevy
truck had rolled over.
-MCSO received a report
about a vehicle on its top.
There w ere several cars
around it.
-MCSO received a report
about a darker colored mini-
van that went off the road;
another vehicle was stopping
to check.
-MCSO and Boardman FD
received a report that a white
pickup was on its side. There
were no injuries and the
d riv e r c a lle d a tow.

-BPD received a report that
a brother of a 15-year-old
male was out o f control,
throwing things. The subject
had not hurt anyone and did
not take an y th in g . The
subject was in a bedroom
w here th ere w ere no
weapons.

assisted a female who was
unresponsive but breathing.
The subject had a history of
high blood pressure.
Feb. 4: -MCSO received a
report about a male subject
in H erm iston that got
stabbed in the abdominal
region. The reporter advised
that he couldn’t get suspect
information from the victim.

a rep o rt about a M otor
Vehicle Accident involving a
roll over and the injuries
were unknown. Boardman
Ambulance assisted.
-MCSO received a report
about a possible trespassing
in progress. The reporter
spotted a subject in black
sweats and maroon coat.
-MCSO received a report
that a red two door Jeep
C h e ro k e e ’s lig h ts w ere
flashing.
-MCSO received a report
that dogs were at large and
getting into everything.
-MCSO received a report
about a missing five-month
Siberian Husky.
-MCSO received a report
about a possible suspicious
person in lone with a big
camera that had a telephoto
lens. When confronted the
subject tried to ignore the
reporter.

anonymous call that advised
a male subject who is on the
most w anted in U m atilla
County was staying in Utah
in a one end red tracker
SUV.
-MCSO received a 911 call
from a female. The female
was unsure of where she was
and stated that she needed to
get h er hu sb an d to the
doctor. Irrigon Ambulance
responded.
-M C SO d ep u ty took a
report about an UEMV.
-MCSO received a report
about a Chihuahua running
around in the road.
-MCSO received a report
that a white Lumina in the
early morning was passing in
no passing zones.
-MCSO received a report
about a b reak in. in
S ep tem b er w here the
reporter had had his guns
stolen. The guns were at the
Pawn Shop and the reporter
req u ested phone contact
from the deputy.
-MCSO received a report
about a client that had a crisis
at Columbia River Ranch.
After the crisis Columbia
River Ranch requested extra
patrol.
-MCSO issued a citation to
Arien Lee Cherones, 26, for
violating the basic rule by
going 104 mph in a 65 mph
zone.
-MCSO issued a citation to
Cristina Talar Hagopian, 26,
for violating the speed limit
by going 81 mph in a 65 mph
zone.
-BPD issued a citation to
Jose Antonio Madrigal, 20.
for fa ilin g to renew
registration.
-BPD issued a citation to
Victor Lemus-Hernandez,
40, for violating the speed
limit by going 36 mph in a
25 mph zone.
-BPD received a report that
someone was inside Baja Ct.
in Boardm an and no one
should have been in it.
Nothing was found.
-Boardman Ambulance and
Boardman FD received a call
about a M otor V ehicle
Accident three miles West of
Boardman. The caller did
not know where they were.
OSP found the vehicle.
-lone EMS received a report
about an abandoned shop
that was on fire. lone FD
assisted.
