the amount of $4,000. The
money is in support of the
Wallowa Valley Orchestra,

INW M ’s goal of bringing

INWM provides a variety of
youth-oriented presentations
including young people's
concerts, a young artists’
com petition and a m usic
student mentoring program
called ‘dinner music' where

west Musicians Chorale will
present a concert of Christ
mas music in the Echo Com
munity Building on Satur
day, Dec. 16, at 7 p.m.
On Sunday, Dec. 17,
at 4 p.m., the program will
be repeated in Ukiah High
School in Ukiah.
The forty-odd sing
ers of the chorale gather at
Harris Junior Academy in
P en d leto n each M onday
evening to rehearse for their
concerts under the leader
ship of R. Lee Friese of Ath
ena. Friese is the music di
rector and conductor of In
land Northwest Musicians
ensembles. Concerts are then
performed throughout the
region.

the public, with donations
accepted.
A reception will fol
low each concert, giving
community members an op
portunity to greet the musi
cians.
