Saturday was a busy
This last week was
ex trem ely busy for the
Morrow County Fair and
OTPR Court. They had a full
schedule starting Wednesday
and ending Sunday, Aug. 16-
20 .
On Wednesday, they
directed the kid's games
including the watermelon
seed spitting contest and a
few carnival games for the
little ones. They were also
involved in the Pet Show,
then the RDO tractor pull,
which was attended by a
record number of children.
To finish the day, they
modeled their outfits in the
4-H Style Revue during
intermission. This year, the
Pee Wee Style Revue was a
big hit, with more than 20
kids participating.
On Thursday after
finishing conformation, the
court helped out with the
Columbia River Processing
sponsored ice cream social,
they donated six tubs of
Tillamook Ice Cream. Many
kids and adults enjoyed the
ice cream. Then the court
relaxed a little bit before
going and helping with slack
at the OTPR arena.
On Friday, after
Heather, Josie and Jarreid
finished showmanship, they
had little time to relax before
having to do Grand Entry in
the arena.
