dinance Amendment: Morrow
County, applicant. The first of
at least three hearings to con­
sider changes to the Morrow
County Zoning Ordinance rel­
ative to the siting of manufac­
tured homes, temporary resi­
dence requirements, storage of
manufactured homes, and the
use of recreational vehicles.
Recommended to be changed
are Article 4 Sections 4.110
through 4.150 and Article 3
Use Zones Section 3.051. Cri­
teria for approval include the
Morrow County Zoning Ordi­
nance Article 8 Amendments
Section 8.050 Burden and Cri­
teria.
Opportunity to voice support
or opposition to the above pro­
posals or to ask questions will
be provided. Failure to raise an
issue in person or by letter or
failure to provide sufficient
specificity to afford the deci­
sion maker an opportunity to
respond to the issue precludes

of the City of lone a measure
to impose a three year local
option tax for general operat­
ing expenses. On the 8 day of
August, 2006 the Elections
Officer of the City of lone re­
ceived from the City Attorney
of the City of lone the follow­
ing ballot title which was filed
on said date:

CAPTION: Three Year Lo­
cal Option Tax for General
Operating Expenses.
QUESTION: Shall City of
lone impose a tax of $10,000
each year for three years for
general operations beginning
2007-2008?
This measure may cause
property taxes to increase more
than 3%.
SUMMARY: The taxes
needed for three years total
$30,000, which will be im­
posed in equal amounts for
$10,000 each year. The taxes
will be used for general oper­
ating expenses for the City of
lone. An estimated tax impact
is $ 1.17 per $ 1,000 for the first
year. The estimated tax cost for
this measure is an ESTIMATE
ONLY, based on information
available from the county as­
sessor at the time of the esti­
mate.
