Godfrey has been a
full tim e p ro fessio n al
magician for over ten years.
He started magic as
a hobby when he was only
eight years old. As a young
child Godfrey was stricken
with asthma and could not
play sports. He spent his free
time at the school library
where he started reading
magic books.
Godfrey has worked
since childhood to perfect his
magic.

from high school, Godfrey
traveled with a small side
show , “C ircu s o f the
Fantastic.” On the show was
Spongie the Sponge Girl,
“whose body was made out
o f sponge” ; Miss Electra,

her body”; and Amanda the
Indestructible Child, “who
could walk barefoot on a

swords” . The experience he
gained in traveling with this
circus has helped Godfrey
become an outstanding fair
performer.

in Hollywood, where only
the world’s best magicians
entertain. He has performed
at the leading fairs, schools,
p riv a te fu n c tio n s and
corporate events in America.

We go to the Morrow County Fair to look at the
flowers, watch the 4-H members compete and check out
the livestock. However, there is no doubt that fair is always
more fun if we are part of the event.

the public on Aug. 16, but exhibits are accepted on Monday,
