The Heppner Church of the
Nazarene would like to ac
knowledge all the people who
contributed to the successful
renovations to the exterior of
our church building. This
project consisted of removal
and new construction of the
entry bridge and the installation
of new siding.
Without the assistance from
these various people, our recent
building improvements would
not have been possible:
Dale Shafer - L & S Engi
neering, Spokane, Washington
(bridge design and blueprints);
John W ight and crew at
P ettyjohn’s; Joe M iller of
Miller and Sons for iron and
welding; Ryan Miller and crew
for delivery of cement; J & S
Services for cement finish
work; Bob DeSpain for con
struction for the new cross and
lettering; the Nazarene ROAM
(RV’ers on a Mission) team for
the many hours of labor; Rick
McDaniel for removal of the
old entry bridge and tools; Jerry
Gentry for the use of the scaf
folding; Terry and crew at Pot
o ’ Gold cafe for serving us
pizza; City of Heppner Public
Works for removal of large
rocks and old cement blocks;
and Willow Creek RV Park for
their hospitality.
Thank you!

Appreciation to Friends in
the Heppner Community:
1 feel moved to express my
profound gratitude to friends
who have expressed their con
cern for my well-being by in
quiries, phone calls, e-mails,
cards, letters and prayers. The
senior center community, the
church community on all lev
els, and neighbors have ex
tended good will in many ways.
1 certainly include the TLC of
my family who made them
selves available and acted de
cisively without fuss or flour
ish during this crisis, and who,
with me, appreciate the energy
of everyone’s good wishes.
I will return home soon and
not long after that will he able
to make my daily walks to the
post office. I will be seeing you.
Thank you and God speed to
all of you.
