On Friday, M arch
17, lo n e’s Camp 5 had a
game day. Students from
kindergarten through third
grade were invited to play
games. The activities ranged
from board gam es and
puzzles to more physical
gam es like D uck-D uck-
Goose and Hot Potato.
Camp 5 coordinator
V icky W agenblast was
assisted by Kim Thompson.
They helped the kids learn
such gam es as Sorry,
B attleship, C andy Land,
C hutes and L ad d ers,
Pictionary Jr., dominoes and
more. All the kids won prizes
throughout the morning and
one was even overheard
saying, “Mrs. Wagenblast,
you rock.”
P arks C om m ittee to m eet
The Morrow County
Parks Committee will meet
hold its semi-annual meeting
on Monday, March 20,2006
at 6:30 p.m. at the Morrow
C ounty School D istric t
Office in Lexington. The
committee will be reviewing
plans for the opening of
A nson W right Park and
Cutsforth Park. The OHV
Park has been open all year.
The committee is comprised
of 23 members representing
the entire county. The public
is welcome to attend.

movements of the pieces as
w ell as som e beginning

believes that games teach the

skills and introduce them to
h o b b ies th at w ill last a
lifetime.

D ana W illis was
convicted of Theft-2, a Class
A misdemeanor. She was
sentenced to 180 suspended
days in ja il, 40 hours
co m m u n ity serv ice and
payment of $583 in fines and
fees.
