OSU sponsors agriculture essay contest Oregon Agriculture in the Classroom Foundation has lau n ch ed its second annual statew id e essay contest about agriculture. In te re ste d O regon high school students may enter the com petition, which is judged on how persuasively their writing communicates the importance of agriculture in our daily lives. The foundation is a n o n -p ro fit o rg a n iz a tio n headquartered at O regon State U n iv ersity . The Portland area alliance formed in September 2005. The second alliance launches this month in eastern Oregon. A third alliance comes online this spring in southern Oregon.
