Transported to PMH. - H e p p n e r Ambulance received a call for a 58-year-old male with compound fracture. A tree fell on his leg. He was transported to St. Anthony’s via Heppner Ambulance and Pendleton Ambulance. -M C SO cited C h risto p h e r Reed Bruegman, 23, for Driving while Suspended-violation. -MCSO received a report from Pendleton PD that C linton Eugene Springer, 23, was arrested on a Morrow County Circuit Court warrant for Failure to A p p ear/B u rg lary II, Possession of a Controlled Substance II and Theft II. He was lodged Umatilla County Jail on $40,000 bail. -M C SO had a Welfare Check about a male in a wheelchair along Hwy 730 u n d ern eath the overpass. Subject with a w hite van. P ossibly hitchhiking. -MCSO received a call about an 18-month-old baby who drank a little bit of window cleaner. Call was tra n sfe rre d to Poison Control. No ambulance was needed. Poison control gave some inform ation to the caller. A ug. 30: M CSO received an animal complaint from a cajler in Boardman of puppies eating each other, one puppy spotted running dow n the road w ith another’s leg in its mouth. -MCSO cited Dana Willis for theft of services. -M CSO arrested Ross Van Etta on an Irrigon Justice Court warrant for Failure to Appear/Failure to Perform the D uties o f a Driver. He was lodged at Irrigon Justice Court. He w as also a rre sted on a UCSO warrant for Parole Violation. He was lodged at Umatilla County Jail with holds placed for MCSO. -MCSO cited Grace H eron C allahan, 22, for Violation of the Basic Rule, 73 mph in a 55 mph. -M C SO arrested L arry D ouglas, 44, for Criminal Trespass. -MCSO received a report from ADV that they had been on line with a female subject who had been drinking and threatening to take pills. Female subject advised no intent of suicide attempts. Behavior Health will contact in morning. -MCSO received a report of subjects seen in GD’s drinking, then possibly attempting to drive. -BPD cited Trinidad Garcia Perez, 24, for Driving Uninsured. -BPD receiv ed a report from a caller, that their daughter was bit on the way to school this morning. The dog was surrendered to animal control. -MSCO received a report from Irrigon o f a subject slumped over wheel. Subject advised that he was taking a nap in preparation for a long drive. Aug. 31: -MSCO received a report for Mario Calvillo Ramirez, 21, for contempt of court. -M SC O arrested Kevin Lee Norton, 29, for Parole Violation/attempting toelude-vehicle/DUlI. He was a rre sted and lodged at U m atilla C ounty Jail on Assault IV Domestic Felony and Interfering with 911/ Police Report. -B PD receiv ed a rep o rt from a m ale experiencing chest pain and trouble breathing, Boardman Police and an ambulance were requested. -BPD had a traffic stop for A ngelita G loria C orpus for Violating the Speed Limit. She was going 36 mph in a 20 mph school zone. She was also Driving While Suspended. -BPD received 2nd party relay that there was a fire alarm at a residence. Joel Ernesto Rodriguez, 19, was arrested for Attempted Delivery of a Controlled Substance to a Minor. BMCC golf class scheduled Blue M ountain Community College and the Willow Creek Country Club will offer “Beginning Golf,” a six-week, evening class, sch ed u led to begin on T hursday, Sept. 21. The class will run from 5:30-7 p.m ., each w eek. C raig Holland will teach the class. The class is intended for people with little or no golfing experience. It will cover the rules, play and e tiq u e tte o f the gam e. Putting, chipping, pitching, approaching, fairway shots and teeing off will also be covered. Tuition for the class is $35. Fossil Beds change hours The staff o f John Day Fossil Beds National M onum ent an n o u n ces a change in hours. From Sept. 6 through the fall and winter, the Thomas Condon Visitor Center will be open daily from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. On federal holidays from Thanksgiving Day through February, the center will be closed. It will be held at 5 p.m. at the St. P a tric k ’s Senior Center. (N ote the time change.) Judge Terry Tallman will be showing the group how to put a garden to bed. Judge Tallman lives in B oardm an and has beautiful gardens- Terry and Cheryl’s Gardens, flowers, vegetables and bulbs.
