Aug. 19, between the hours
of 9 a.m. and noon, and in
the afternoon from 1-3 p.m.
Come down to the
Fair and receive your premi­

The Farm Founda­
tion will have a Mural Dedi­
cation at the farm museum
building on Wednesday, Au­
gust 17, at 6 p.m. Everyone
is invited to attend and show
support for the Farm Foun­
dation.

There will be a lot of scrumptious food at this year’s
Morrow County Fair. Along with the 4-H Snack Shack
outside will be the Cowboy Corral Concession from Halfway
selling Texas Barbecue Ribs, Roast Beef, Curly Fries,
Elephant Ears and Ice Cream. TheTaqueria Apatzingan from
Boardman will bring in their Taco Wagon to serve Tacos,
Burritos and Hot §ubs and C R Ice will be on hand with
their popular Shaved Ice, and Fruit Smoothie. Needless to
say there is something for everyone to eat at the fair!
Enter Pet Show Wednesday
The Pet Show has been moved back to Wednesday
of Fair week at 3 p.m. Immediately following the pet show
will be The Ugliest and Prettiest Pet Contest. Enter your pet
or just come and see all the many different pets that are
entered.
Spitting winners get t-shirt
Kids and adults get
your sp itters ready. The
Watermelon Seed Spitting
c o n te st is m oving to
W ednesday at 1 p.m .
Children o f all ages (this
includes adults) are welcome
to participate. A Hermiston
Watermelon t-shirt will be
given to the one who can spit
the farthest in each category.
