accepting sealed proposals for
maintenance and repairs to the
Pettyjohn Office Building, 430
H eppner/L exington Hwy.
Heppner, Oregon until 2 pm,
Tuesday, August 16, 2005. A
complete packet is available at
the District office located at
same address between the
hours o f 8 am and 4 pm
Monday through Friday. Items
included in the packet are
retrofitting two bathroom sinks
to ADA compliance, replacing
a rain gutter, installing
moisture barrier, securing sub
floor, replace carpet and
improve air return ductwork
for HVAC.
Proposals are also being
accepted for janitorial services
of approximately 6259 sq. ft of
office space. A separate packet
is available for this purpose.
In terested parties may
submit a proposal for all or part
of the request.
Qualified pool. Contractors
are invited to submit letters of
in terest to pre-qualify to

LAND USE HEARING
THE MORROW COUNTY
COURT will hold the following
hearing of public interest on
Wednesday, August 10, 2005,
at 10:00 a.m. at the CSEPP
Meeting Room adjacent to the
North Morrow County Annex
Building in Irrigon, Oregon.
This public hearing is to
respond to a Land Use Board
of Appeals (LUBA) remand of
the Aggregate application by
Max Hellberg. Specifically the
County C ourt will be, as
directed by the LUBA decision,
adopting findings in support of
the previous decision to deny
mining on the subject property.
Because the sole issue in this
rem and proceeding is the
adoption of proper findings, no
new testimony will be allowed
