Notice is hereby given that
beginning on FEBUARY 14.
2005, at 10:00 AM o'clock, the
board of property tax appeals
of the County of Morrow,
Oregon, will meet to:
Hear petitions for reduction
of the real market, maximum
assessed, specially assessed, or
assessed value of property as
of January 1, 2004. or as
determined under ORS
308.146(5)(a),
ORS
308 146(6)(a), or ORS
308 428
Hear petitions for reduction
of value corrected under ORS
311.208
Hear petitions for waiver of
penalties for late filing of real
or personal property returns
Petitions must be filed with
the clerk of the board or
postmarked not later than Jan
3, 2005.
The board will meet at

Bonanza on Saturday, Dec
4, the Cardinal Boys lost to
Mac-Hi
They were behind
five points at the end o f the
first q uarter, 17-12 and
dropped farther behind in the
second quarter, 21-17 The
Cardinals came back after
halftime and outscored Mac-
Hi by three points, ending
the quarter slightly behind at
49-43. They tried hard to
catch up, but c o u ld n ’t
overcome M ac-H i’s lead,
losing the game 63-52
Tyler Brown led the
team w ith 18 points,
including one three-point
field goal He also had four
rebounds, one assist and one
steal Nick Christman had 12
points and three steals. Tony
Bolin had eight points, three
steals, led rebounds with
seven and led assists with
four
Kelly Thompson had
six points, two rebounds,
two steals and four assists
Tyler Raible had four points,
five rebounds and one steal

At the end of the first

9. In the second quarter, lone
scored 19 points, but at
halftime, Mac-Hi still led 31-

ended with lone losing 51-
42. Mac-Hi has an excellent

Lady Cardinals lose to Enterprise

In their first game o f
the season, The Lady Cards
lost to Enterprise at home on
Friday, Dec 3.
The Cardinals were
down one point at the end
of the first quarter, 7-6 In
the second quarter, neither
team made a point until the
last two minutes At halftime
the score was 9-8, with
Enterprise still leading
lone had a hard time
in the third quarter and didn’t
m ake a b ask et, while
Enterprise had a 14-point
run. Both team s scored
seven points in the final
quarter and the Lady Cards
lost 30-15.
Amber Patton led
the team with eight points
She also had seven
rebounds Ashly Grams had
four points, seven rebounds,
one assist and led steals with
five Alyssa Rietmann had
one three-point field goal,
two rebounds and one steal
Others contributing
were Sara Peck who led
rebounds with eight She
also had one steal Jenny
Griffith had six rebounds,
one steal and one assist.

A” team Ponies defeat Riverside

The “A” team Ponies
took on the P irates o f
Riverside in a cross-county
rivalry The Ponies showed
no m ercy h o stin g their
guests as they raided the ship
from the ballast to the crow’s
nest. The P onies w ere
running in stride as they led
by five at the end o f one, 7-
2 .
The Ponies weren’t
to be denied in the second as
they increased their lead by
12 to 23-11. The third
quarter allowed the Pirates
some redemption as they
outscored the Ponies 12-9.
In the fourth quarter,
however, is when the corral
gates were opened and the
stam pede began and the
Pirates had to learn whether
to sink or swim when the
Ponies scored 19-0 to end
this fiasco and the Pirates
had to walk the plank as the
Ponies won 51-23
The Ponies were led
by Jared Huddleston with 11
points. Follow ing close
behind were Dalton Wellman
and Sam King with 10 points
each Spencer Palmer and
Matt Holland each brought
in six points, with Braden
B ritt and Joe P ranger
bringing in three each and
Josh Shank brining in two
points Also contributing to
the team win was Brent

the season, the Cardinals
d efeated the E n terp rise
Pioneers in a close game at
home on Friday, Dec 3
At the end o f the first
quarter, lone was down two
points, 17-15 At halftime
they were down four points,
20-16. They came back after
halftime determined to win
and scored 15 points in the
third quarter and 23 in the
fourth quarter, winning the
game 69-68
Tyler Brown led the
team w ith 31 points,
including seven three-point
field goals He also led with
10 rebounds and seven steals
and had one blocked shot
and two assists.
Tony Bolin, a new
student at lone, had 11
points, nine rebounds, two
steals and four assists. Nick
Christman had 10 points,
including one three-point
field goal, three steals and
two assists Tyler Raible had
seven points, six rebounds
and one blocked shot Kelly
Thompson had five points.

The “B” team Ponies
took on the Riverside Pirates
in a home game on Thursday,
Dec 2.
In the first quarter,
the Ponies jumped out to a
6-2 ad v an tag e Playing
relentless defense they held
them scoreless, while sinking
nine o f their own in the
second By the third, there
was mutiny on board as the
Pirates were held scoreless
again and the Ponies were
running wild hitting for 12.
By the fourth, the Ponies let
their guard dow n and
allowed the Pirates to score
five, while they made six.
The old mates were last seen
drifting back to friendlier
waters, taking their 33-7 loss
with them
In the scoring
departm ent,

Holland led the team with six
points each Jordan Hatfield
followed with five points and
Luke Young banked four
