“T he pop cans ju st keep com ing in,” said a
spokesman for the ever-popular Shenanigan Fiddlers. “It
is just am azing that the people o f this com m unity are so
supportive o f our efforts to raise dollars to fund our group.
Through this effort we can continue to provide an unusual
and entertaining brand o f music to the area.”
Eventually, it is hoped that enough money can be
raised by next year to partially fund a trip to Ireland. The
Shenanigans plan to attend a one-w eek school devoted
to Irish fiddling taught by a noted Irish instructor.

of the Year

Buckaroos. The eighth graders opened up a lead, 17 to 15, in
the first h a lf that held up throughout the second h a lf as the
')( B ucks c o u ld n 't over take them . The final score w as Ponies
37, Bucks 35.
There was som e outstanding play on both sides, but
the Bucks ju st co u ld n ’t quite get the saddle on. T he Ponies
w ere lead by N acho Elguezabal with 10 points, Andre Rauch
with four, Nathan VanCleave with four, M att McCabe with 17
and Jason Houweling with two points.
