Gribble while he was Justice Haggard-Osmin o f the Peace. She was appointed to that job in 1968 and served until retiring in 1978. For a number of years the couple spent their winters in the South, but had been retired in Heppner since 1990. She was a member of the All-Saints Episcopal and a member o f the Ruth Chapter Order o f the Eastern Star, where she served as Worthy Matron. She enjoyed golf, knitting, sewing and playing bridge. Survivors include her husband o f 68 years; sons, Douglas of Centralia, WA and Stuart o f Issaquah, WA; daughter, Barbara Diggins of Pendleton; grandchildren, Julie Anderson, Jeff Gribble, Kimi Carlson and M ichael Lee B ecker; and 10 g re a t­ grandchildren.
