SION will hold the following
hearing of public interest on
Tuesday, December 9,2003, at
5:30 p.m. at the North Morrow
County Annex Building in Irri-
gon, Oregon:
Conditional Use Request
CUP-S-202-03: Joel Peterson,
applicant for Pine Lane Ranch,
owner. Property is described as
tax lot 3100 of Assessor’s Map
3S 24 and is zoned Exclusive
Farm Use (EFU). Property is
located approximately 16 miles
south of lone on Bergstrom
Lane which is between Valby
Road and Liberty School Road.
Proposal is to site an accesso­
ry farm dwelling on the prop­
erty to assist in the operation
of the farm. Criteria for ap­
proval include Morrow Coun­
ty Zoning Ordinance Article 3
section 3.010(D)(3).
Opportunity to voice support
or opposition to the above pro­
posals or to ask questions will

issue in person or by letter or
failure to provide sufficient
specificity to afford the deci­
sion maker an opportunity to
respond to the issue precludes
appeal to the Land Use Board
of Appeals based on those is­

After the Public Hearing a
joint work session will be held
with the Planning Commission
and the City of Heppner Plan­
ning Commission to discuss a
proposed Urban Growth
Boundary expansion. A review
o f H eppner’s 20-year land
need is in process and initial
results indicate a need for ad­
ditional commercial and indus­
trial zoned land. The purpose
of this joint work session is to
familiarize both Planning Com­
missions of the current study
and it’s findings. It is anticipat­
ed that this session will start at
approximately 6:00 pm.
