Softball clinic offered in Heppner
A catc h in g and
pitching softball clinic will be
held Oct. 19, at the Heppner
High School gym. Fourth
through seventh graders will
meet from 1-2:30 p.m., and
eighth and ninth graders will
meet from 2:30-4 p.m.
Petra Elguezabal and

instructors for the clinic. The
clinic w ill cost $10 per
participant. Scholarships are
available.

Youth Leadership Forum on
Defense, Intelligence and
Diplomacy (N YLF/DID) from
O ct. 28 to Nov. 2 in
Washington, D.C. Having
d e m o n strated academ ic
achievement and an interest in
a career related to national
security, Botefuhr and Bailey
will join approximately 400
high school juniors and seniors
from across the United States
at the forum.
