CARD OF THANKS
Words can’t even begin to
say how much we appreciate
and thank those o f you that
have helped us during the re
cent loss of our home and most
of our belongings. Many o f the
items that we lost can never
be replaced, but the thought
fulness and caring that has
been shown to us by so many,
has helped to keep our spirits
up, and opened our eyes to how
a community can pull together
and help one another.
We thank the Neighborhood
Center for getting us a place
to sleep the night o f the fire.
The Red Cross, for providing
us a few more nights lodging»
to have time to ourselves to try
and regroup. Also, for the help
to get some o f the much need
ed items that we take so much
for granted. Duane and Kathy
Jones for coming to us the night
of the fire, for your spiritual
support, and for your continued
support.
To Lorene and all the Red
Apple employees, for the bas
ket o f “goodies” that we real
ized we “need” everyday. Lin
da Crane, Alvin and the staff
at the Northwestern Motel for
letting us stay there until we got
our feet back under us a little.
Rick and Celia Drake for the
cleaning o f the clothes, and
some of Lyn’s “stuffed” friends
that we salvaged from the
house after the fire. Darrin,
Belinda, and Garrett for your
time and help in pulling items
from the mess, boxing many of
them up, and getting them into
the garage for us.
To all those who help us look
and find our cat when the fire
scared him away. Rita Wool-
sey and B.J., for caring for our
cat and providing such a loving
“foster home”. To Steve and
Keith, for the help in digging
through the rem ains o f the
house and belongings, the clean
up o f the few things that we
hope to salvage, and for being
there to listen to me “complain”
about “that damn fire” . To
Harry and Fae Greene, for the
countless hours that you pro
vide us a shoulder to lean on
and an ear to listen. To every
one that has provided us sup
port, whether physical or men
tal, spiritual, or monetary, and
helped us realize how much
friendship can hold you up in a
time of loss.
Thank you to those who
have donated clothes, furniture
and other items to help replace
some o f what we lost. To our
many customers, who contin
ue to support and offer words
o f encouragement. A very spe
cial thanks to the Kindles for
all the work that they have put
in to help raise money for us in
our time o f need. To our em
ployees, Rita, B.J., Jenny and
Katie, for helping to “hold down
the fort” while we try to get
back to “normal”.
Thank you, Heppner.
Terry Lupinacci.

My grateful thanks to all my
friends who have said prayers,
and sent me cards, letters and
phone calls during my recent
surgery and treatments in CA.
I appreciate all of you so much,
and especially my daughter
Susan, who’s giving me lots of
TLC until I can go home.
See you soon,
and God Bless,
Katherine Lindstrom

Thank You!
The Adopt A Teacher Foun
dation would like to thank all of
the volunteers for their time and
energy during the M orrow
County Fair week. The carni
val on Wednesday was a big
success with a lot o f positive
feedback from both parents and
students. Also, a big thank you
to all of the helpers who helped
with the VIP seating at the ro
deo Friday, Saturday and Sun
day.
The Adopt A Teacher Foun
dation is successful because of
dedicated and concerned citi
zens, volunteering their time and
energy in order for our young
people to succeed in their edu
cation. Thank you again.
Sincerely,
Jeannie Collins, President

To putt or not to putt.
That was the question;
But without a head,
There could be no intention.
So someone had to mention,
A new head
would remove the tension.
And so it came to be,
That there is a new reality.
Putt putt, putt putt, putt putt!
Thanks, everyone.
