2003 Pennant Bearers introduced
The Morrow County
Fair and Oregon Trail Pro
Rodeo has three pennant
bearers this year.
MaKayla Anderson is
the 13-year-old daughter o f
Larry and Marcia Anderson of
Boardman. She has an older
sister Heather, and a younger
sister, A shley. M aK ayla
attends Colom bia Middle
School in Irrigon where she is
an honor roll student.
MaKayla is active in
4-H where she shows market
steers, and is in sewing. She
also has plans on entering the
calf riding at the rodeo this
year. She will be riding her
h o rse, Sum m er, for the
parades this fall.
MaKayla has enjoyed
her year with the court and is
lo o k in g fo rw ard to the
hometown fair and rodeo this
year.
Emily Bergstrom is the
daughter o f Hal and Rita
Bergstrom of Heppner. She is
15 years old and has an 18-
year-old brother, Adam. Emily
will be a junior this fall at
Heppner High School. She is
active in cooking, sewing and
horse 4-H, has been in 4-H
for five years.
Emily loves to ride her
chestnut half-Morgan, half-
Quarter Horse named Penny.
Emily has loved being
a pennant bearer for this year’s
fair and rodeo.

Tracie Kennedy, and Tami
Kennedy o f Boardman. Her
sister, Lexi, is currently a
Princess this year.
Amanda is an eighth
grader at Columbia Middle
School in Irrigon. School is
very important to her, where
she maintains a 4.0 GPA. Her
school activities include
p lay in g v o lley b all and
b ask etb all and she is a
representative on student
council. After school she
enjoys working with her horse
Trooper and showing lambs.
Amanda has enjoyed
representing the fair and
rodeo.
2003 F a ir and Rodeo adm issions
The 2003 Fair Admission prices are: Wednesday through
Saturday, $3 per adult, daily; Thursday, Senior Citizens, $2 until
5 p.m.; Children 6-12 years, $ 1; Children under 6 admitted to
the Fair FREE and must be accompanied by an adult. Season
passes for the 2003 Morrow County Fair are available for $9
at the Fair Office or Main Gate.
The Fair admission does not admit one to the Rodeo.
Admission prices to the 8 1st Oregon Trail Pro Rodeo
are: General Admission, $8; Children 7-12 years, $5; Children
6 and under are Free. For VIP Seating for families or businesses
(three days o f front row backed seats), call Mindy Christiansen
at 676-5818. For general information o f for 3-day vacation
package, call Sue Gibbs at 676-5446.
